What do you expect : a 4 cylinder engine for a truck ? I own a 2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid and let me tell you it's the best SUV I've ever driven ! Gets very good fuel economy : 12L per 100km... in Canada

fact: yukon hybrid 21/22 and toyota's Camry (large sedan not corolla) with 4 cyl. does 22/32 so technically KBB is not wrong if compared city to city. But way off if compared combined.

Hybrid or not.. this thing is so heavy that even if you would drive on battery alone it has so much weight to haul around that the batteries would drain so quickly that you'd be driving on the engine anyways.. But i guess it's the thought that counts :P

@RobertGary1 Actually.. Take into consideration you use drive this car 100,000 miles which is more or less the typical use of a family SUV for 5 year or so.. The average MPG of the gas version would be 16mpg.. the hybrid 21.5.. Now, with gas at $4.00 , it would cost $25,000 to drive the non hybrid version 100k miles.. The hybrid version, $18,600. A savings of $7,400. You end up on top, even if you didn't since when is saving gas and carbon emissions not worth a little extra money...

I wish, but because of the power reduction, I assume that the Yukon Hybrid is much slower and weaker than the Yukon Denali. However, the Hybrid is obviously more fuel-efficient and also more luxurious.
