I am a college student too but I use windows for programming. cause c#, asp.net, vb.net, sql server, there are a lot of technologies we have to learn. and in these days they have well paid jobs. if you don't believe me check on internet. java, c#, vb.net, are most popular languages in these days. everyone demands c# and it's useful thing to your resume. but i prefer c++ since it is can be used to code true cross platform unlike mono crap.

@mrskids That's not really true though, is it. iOS I haven't researched what it is built on much, so I can't really say. Android is a slim linux distribution, and linux is built on UNIX, so you could say it has actually heritage from UNIX. Windows was originally built on DOS, and has since dropped DOS but was never really related to or built to emulate UNIX. OSX is built on UNIX, so it would be the closest relative to a UNIX system without being vanilla UNIX.

After the reset the system was totally unlocked, and it took her several minutes and a 3D interface (which was real, btw) to figure out how to turn a doorlock on, which he could've done in an instant. Granted, a hard power reboot shouldn't have done a restore... unless it was setup that way. Movie magic. ;)

Why do people keep typing "sudo apt-get ..."? Sudo is not used on all UNIX systems and apt-get is a front end for dpkg, the Debian package manager. If you want to be funny try:

"rm -r ./dinosaurs" to delete your dinosaurs directory.

or
