Very very interesting. I just learned of the ones in the San Diego south Bay which is why I was searching and found your two. I actually don't think this is the same Turtle and am not sure it's even the same species. I posted the links on the Sea Turtle FB page to see what they think.

i found one yesterday in front of the marine room restaurant. the video looks like its a little l to the marine room towards the sea caves. good luck finding them...out of all my years swimming in la jolla, the first one i saw was yesterday.

I saw a turtle and took some video of it a couple weeks ago... just in front of the Marine Room... near where the outside waves break. I saw one last year in the same area, and so did a guy I work with. They're out there... I don't know how common it is to see them, but if I've seen one twice, and another guy saw one... they're not too rare. Very cool to follow them around for a bit....

This is really cool, we snorkel there with the Guitar fish and Leopard sharks. Lots of Garabaldi, and even a grooper or two. This is very lucky sighting, good for you

I have dove La Jolla area for many years and have never seen any green sea turtles there... did not even think they would be there. Saw hundreds in the hawaiian islands but never So Cal. Great video
