The point of Auto-tune and melodyne is to round off the occasional mistakes of performances and perfecting tracks so that they "sit" in the mix. It's NOT a tool to make crappy musicians sound like pros. One T-pain is ok, but a million of T-pain wanna-bes that's just TOO MUCH.

Lemme help you out a bit......for the pitch modulation, select all the notes then drag down. If you want the Tpain effect then drag it til the pitch is completely straight. Simple!

Anyone who begins a tutorial by complaining about his lack of ratings, is a lost cause because it is so off putting to be lectured to.

Secondly, the video sync is way out which makes the tutorial unwatchable and therefore pretty useless.

Thirdly, both your voice and your English are very poor and your method of explaining leaves a lot be desired.

This will sound mean, but I would have given you a 10 minus if I could because it might teach you a lesson not to put these second rate vids up here.

hey. when u was using pitch modulation to connect everything...all u gotta do is select all and use the pitch modulation and double click the end of one of the notes...thats how i learned to do it..ur way is good to..my ways just faster

@peterwoo94 Thousands, even free ones. Audacity is one I've worked with, but that's all the free ones I've worked with. Go to soundforge(dot) com and I think you can search up DAW or digital audio workstation and maybe add the word free before or after that and some should pop up, but most of these things are complicated and take a while to get any idea how to do things.

Everyone, this was just a sample of course the vocals were bad and if you want them to sound good, there not going to sound perfect in a 7 minute video, it takes hours to perfect everything and master and such. The singing, wasn't good because i didn't attempt to sing well, i tried to sing flat so that i could give you a rough overview of the tuning vocal process.

Melodyne is a great tool... but the problem is you can fix tuning and timing... but you cannot fix vibe or add emotion.. so for that reason you shouldn't sell yourself short as a producer/ singer... by all means use pitch correction but as an enhancing tool! cool video demo tho!

First of all you complain that people are giving you one star ratings, then apologize for the audio sync issue, which renders the tutorial useless.

Next, modulation is not all that's wrong with the vocals. Many notes are out of key and you didn't fix that part, which is a crucial aspect of the benefits of Melodyne. You have to have some understanding of music in order to use it. You need to know what key you are in.

If this was the only video on this product I'd think it was a piece of crap.

In Terms of Pitch correction yes, Auto tune is just sped up Pitch correction, Melodyne is really underrated to the general public, but mot professional Audio Engineers Use Celemony Products, Plus auto tune is way over priced.
