FM are reuniting for ONE gig only at Nottingham Rock City on October the 27th as headliners for Firefest.

Saw them countless times back in the day..a truly brilliant band.

Also check out The Ladder, which features vocalist Steve Overland and Pete Jupp (drummer)...the new album is a brilliant, brilliant slice of modern AOR.

I loved them from the word go and went to see them at the (old) Marquee in December '86. On their 1989 Tough It Out tour I saw them 4 times in one week!

For me their best album was Aphrodisiac from '93. For me it was their zenith with a maturity and depth that was the culmination of all the albums that lead up to it.

I haven't heard any of Steve and Pete Jupp's stuff since FM. I'm going to change that!

Steves voice was and still is amazin,,saw them at Reading festival in 87 red hot, definately worth a place in the roll of honour of british rock musicians.. Hope Nottingham is a blast may get there if all goes well.......... FretKinG65 !!!

Yes I hope they bring out a new album, for e.g I mean the Darkness had a great hit with PTL but then faded in their second album ticket to hell and back, these guy's had some memorable albums also trying to re- invent themselves with different styles but I felt they where all worthy of listening to over and over..

I saw this on tv and ive been a loyal fan of steve ever since. I LOVE the "Different angles" Shadowman cd. Hes such a fanastic singer and was once asked to sing for Foringer but he declined the offer. Maybe he would have made it then. Im glad he stayed with FM.
