For a little while on the PTR you could do this and the echo isles events they both were fun and i was lucky enough to participate in them and yeah only upper gnomer gets taken back :( and for the trolls you finally get to see where troll druids come in :D

I love this music. Not even lying, while I'm a dwarf, and don't particularly care for the short freeloaders, This music has the epic feel of battle + the annoyingness of gnomish music. Well Done Blizz.

I'm a gnome since day 1 too, and i really think it's about damn time that Gnomeregan finally changes, after almost 6 years (when cata comes it'll be almost 6 years)

But as i said, neither the Worgen, nor the Goblins will get their own cities, and if this turns out to be just a shitty quest hub like fizzcrank airstrip or toshley's station, i'm gonna be pissed.

Yes. But the area around gnomeregan, where the little houses are, remains taken. Well from what I've heard :P In the voices video you hear they first capture the airfield, then the airspace around gnomeregan, and then they go inside.

It's an event in one of the patches soon where you help Mekkatorque take back Gnomeregan. It's a pre-event for Cataclysm. There's going to be something like it for Echo Isles, too.
