Panther and Tiger were able to penetrate T34. But they were introduced to war only in 1943. Soviets answered with mounting T34 with 85mm gun which could penetrate both Panther and Tiger. Given better speed and maneuverability of T34 and vast numbers it was still way more effective than any German tank of WWII.
Wrong, please explain how the T-34 was lost in such great numbers if no German gun could penetrate it. And the Tiger was introduced in 1942, not 43. The 85MM gun on the T-34/85 COULD NOT penetrate either the Tiger or Panther frontal armor.

The door knocker was one the majority of german AT guns that could not penetrate the t34. The external fuel tanks were simply drums on the rear that could refill the internals. If you shoot petrol, it does not blow up and will not unless ignited by an explosion or flame. And you should stop saying dork; it makes you sound anallyfurious.

During Battle of Kursk when T34 run out of ammo they usually kept charging Germans tanks running over them and simply crushing them to the ground. Only Tigers had a little chance but were outnumbered.

@Gjalpinulva Are you positive the Flak 88 could not penetrate the frontal armor of a T-34(if not was it due to the slope)? How about the high velocity 75 on the Panther or 88 on the Tiger? Not trying to be argumentative, just curious.

@9241937 Originally Flak 88 is AA, not AT gun. In 1941 it was the only German gun that had some chance of penetrating frontal armor of T34.
Panther and Tiger were able to penetrate T34. But they were introduced to war only in 1943. Soviets answered with mounting T34 with 85mm gun which could penetrate both Panther and Tiger. Given better speed and maneuverability of T34 and vast numbers it was still way more effective than any German tank of WWII.

Wrong, please explain how the T-34 was lost in such great numbers if no German gun could penetrate it. And the Tiger was introduced in 1942, not 43. The 85MM gun on the T-34/85 COULD NOT penetrate either the Tiger or Panther frontal armor.
The T-34 was a severely flawed tank and could not take on any German tank 1 VS 1 after 1942.

@Panteraforever67 Where did I said T34 was unbeatable? I was only talking about frontal armor. Also great number of losses occurred due to mechanical failures. The 85mm gun was placed on T34 after tests proved it can beat Tiger's armor. Why would they do that otherwise?
I dont think you are in a position to make such a claims about T34. All you know is information from books and movies. I dont trust historic books. I trust people who was there and successfully used that vehicle.
