@RedSandStudios theres alot of reasons to use linux... the best reason if for this next reason - when windows doesn't boot... if you installed linux in dual boot mode, then you can use linux to google a solution and fix your problem THROUGH linux... linux is also QUITE alot better with multimedia than windows.. exception being gaming.
Thats some things I always loved about KDE. With Gnome my prefered DE you can't change the wallpaper for each individual workspace. As far back as I remember KDE had that capability. Another cool thing about KDE is the way you can control how your passwords are displayed. I always choose the option to make the password show nothing when typed, instead of dots. With Gnome you can't do this. However I hate the way KDE looks and feels.
@LinuxPhreak2600 to be honest... I prefer the old gnome before unity... kde is nice but too much like windows... gnome is a bit easier for older ppl like my parents to learn.
In the beginning i was hesitating about having linux but now i'm extremely sure of getting linux and all thanx comes to u. Thanx dude. 5stars :) can u plz send me a link for linux thanx?.
nice :) thank you.. now maybe a tutorial on how to use a usb flash drive in linux cuz its not reading mine, doesnt matter really cuz my windows still reads it
Again, Nice Tutorial. Another 5(*). I don't use all the bangs and whistles allotted to desktop effects but I agree, desktop grids hot spotted to one of the corners is a must. I really like this, can't wait to bin windows for good, but in the meantime I need it for vendor compatability while printing. Thanks again man. Keep it up, I subscribed...
This video makes me want to use Linux but I really can't think of a reason why I would use it over Windows 7 in most cases.

Excellent, nicely put together and even though I'm just coming over from 2009, I still learned a thing or two.
Many thanks
