  • do you have a certain reason why you do it partially dry hair but just dampen hair ? And why you apply it as if it were a relax . This is my first time seeing it done this way . It seems like a great technique . I am just wondering why you have decided to it this way .

  • @ulovemegz where did you but the Mane n tail conditioner

  • Hey , love ur videos ! thank u for the inspirations

  • @MsZangalewa the last one was grapeseed oil. The info box below the videos are very helpful, she listed the products there also. Hope that helps, have a great day!

    Thanks Meg x

  • Hi Meg! For some reason I feel like if i deep condition my hair first the shampoo will wash it out and my hair won't retain the moisture

  • @JNaritchie Don't deep condition before you shampoo...She meant before you Co-wash your hair.

  • i watched about 2 minutes of this and got suicidal cuz of your voice. no offence ¬_¬

  • is tht ur real hair its so pretty

  • OMG! i am sooo gonna get my lazy butt up and do this. i totally have all the ingredients already. its soo weird cause i was just thinking about my mane n tail.lol

  • cant i just use reguler conditioner with mixing stuff together??

  • @lilmisrocroyal1 Yes you can do that. Some conditioners are already packaged as deep conditioners and they tend to be a bit thicker.

  • what good does Peppermint oil do for your hair? what is its purpose?

  • is hotel conditioner healthy for my hair? I wanted to wash my hair after the pool and idk if the hotel conditionor is onna dry it out. Btw their brand the hotel uses is bath and body works

  • I like how thorough this method is.

  • I always deep condition on dry hair. It skeeves me out getting in and out of the shower just to deep conditioner my hair.

  • If you deep condition before you wash your hair doesn't it kind of defeat the purpose of doing it?

  • heyy megan i just wanted to know what other oils can you use??

  • hey Megz, what do you mean by "co-wash"?

how often do you "co-wash" and wash your hair?

    :)

Sorry if someone's asked this question before, i'm kinda new on the hair journey business lol

  • @xSexiiChiicx she has a video on that question, but ultimately its just washing your hair with conditioner, no shampoo. so u would use the conditioner as if it were a shampoo

  • @Rachel2786 THANKSSSS.. pretty cool

  • @xSexiiChiicx Cowash is washing with conditioner instead of shampoo. You can see her "My Regimen (Hair Current)" video and I think she says how many times and all that. :)

  • @LiyahVideoVault thanks girll :)

  • Also, I tried DC on dry hair and it was wonderful, I'm going to start doing it that way.

  • How do you Detangle your hair? What do you use? You should make a video on how you detangle your hair :)

  • Could I Subsitute The "Now" Oils For The Food Oils Purchased From A Grocery Store?

  • @Cnh1018 as long as its 100% natural its fine

  • could u use just any normal conditioner to do this, without the oils?

  • @ulovemegz if you deep condition before you shampoo does it wash away the affects of the DC once you shampoo

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • can u mix a deep conditioner and regular conditioner together, and can u also put castor oil creme in it to?

  • @LUNAjanda101 most to all conditioners are thought off as "regular" conditioners. What makes it a deep condition is the amount of time that it is left on your or the suggested amount of time the bottle says to leave it on. anything after 15minutes is considered a "deep condition"

  • Where do you get grape seed oil from?

  • @HeyHoxie i got mine rom my local grocery store

  • have you ever deep condition wit lutrasilk cholesterol with Shea butter & mango?, if so how do you deep condition?

  • @jessica91423 yes i do it the exact same way in this video or I do it on wet hair.

  • i love your viddeo

  • Girl, you remind me of my friends! I feel like we'd be the best of friends! Haha, anyway, do you recommend combining protein and moisturizing conditioners when I DC? I'm doing it because I want to maintain my balance. Or should I DC moisturize and then DC with protein? Orrr should I not mix and just alternate after washes? Thanks!!

  • @effyourcouch7 you can alternate after washes say like w/ light protein and moisture and then you do a heave protein once a month

  • Its it true the longer you leave your deep conditioner on the more effective it is?

  • @The916Jackie yes i believe so...it makes your hair way softer

  • hi megan. i have a quesiton: for deep conditioning, could i use any of the pantene conditioners or no?

  • @sagitariaus1989 yes you can

  • I luv ur videos! You've inspired me to begin my hair journey(: I use organic root stimulator products , but I plan on addin oils and some of the items u use to my regimen. Keep up the great work, and thanks for allllllll the info. **BTW I subscribed ^_^

  • ur 21?!? i thought you were like 16/17

  • What is the difference between co-washing , and deep conditioning ?

  • @MsJanny12 co-washing is when you "wash" your hair in the shower with a cheapy conditioner. deep conitioning is when you put conditioner on your hair cover w/ plastic cap and sit with heat over it for atleast 15minutes

  • how old are you...likee...11?

  • @OnlySavLikeSad

    Woww ,,,,,.... !

  • after you deep condition your hair do you rinse with cold water?

  • @3bf4eva yes i do

  • the split ender for split ends i would like to see you do a tutorial on this product .

  • @TheDavis7933 i dont have that product to do a tutorial on

  • where do you find your oils? im planning to start my hair journey, and the only place i cant find them is online .

  • @nyny642 at my local grocery or a whole food/natural food and product store or online

  • @nyny642 you can find the oils at drug emporium

  • if i want to speed up the process of drying my hair would blowing cool air on it be a good idea? i mean like holding the cool air button on the blow dryer down instead of blowing it with hot air. becasue my hair is very very thick and it takes foreverrrr to dry.

  • @bunniesattackedme sure if thats what you want to do

  • how did u get it so wavy?

  • @niekalee305 i detangled my braid out

  • So do u condition every week

  • @exmiranda yes twice a week

  • megz can you just use the Mane n tail conditioner by its self as a light protein based dc? or do you have to use to two?

  • hey megan i was wondering wt advice wud u give 2 some1 who wants their hair to break less and wt oils or regimens shud i try?? :)) thnx if u reply

  • @LadyVimz U should try to come up with a regimen that works for you and that starts by figuring out your hair type to ensure a successful regimen! But moisturizing is the key to less to no breakage as well has some other habits such as keeping away from heat

  • mez can u use the mane n tail alone as a dc or do you have to mix it?

  • @HigherCallToWorship you can use it alone..it was just my choice to mix

  • why do you dampin it? why dont you just co wash first?

  • @tonywony09 I just did that b/c I want to. Doing it this way eliminate a step in the shower. Instead of hoping in the shower twice Im just in the shower 1x

  • So on a co-wash day you deep condition your hair then proceed to wash it with more conditioner? If you deep condition on a wash day, do you go after that with more conditioner???? Please help I'm a beginer and have no idea what to do and how to do it.... thanks

  • @3bf4eva on co-wash days i may deep conditioner before I co-wash or I may deep conditioner after. On wash days I always deep condition after.

  • Hi, i wanted to know how many times a week do you deep condition?

Can i over condition my hair?

    Thanx for your help!

  • @816Nicole I deep condition 2wice a week. You can moisture overload and protein overload..that can happen

  • Comment removed

  • Hey megan, i was wondering why if u cant

    deep condition like that ?

can u just do some parts like

just mixing both conditioners and adding them to your

hair or do you need oils?

    ,thanx

  • @naylita100 No one needs to do it like this put adding oils to conditioners is a notch better than just using it alone. I more of a choice and what you want to do

  • what all videos should i watch to see hair regimens?

I am really trying to grow my hair out, especially my bangs, they are damaged!

  • @paige5792 on youtube?

  • @ulovemegz Thank You!

  • Where can i buy the Neutragena shampoo and conditioner ??

  • @bresoflii09 i got mine from target and ive seen it at walgreens

  • when you say a week you mean five days or 7

  • im not sure if you've answered this question before.

but where do you buy your oils?

i've checked in Sally's and can't find anything

  • @simone3801 u can buy it at ur local health food store

  • I co wash with vo5 moisture milk then I deep condition. When I wash my deep conditioner out should I co wash again or no

  • @VaDesha21 When i do it that way i normally dont because the co-wash was already done and the deep condition was already done. But if you wish to you can

  • And I don't know if you reply to your other videos , but do you have a list a protective styles , i've been wearing the same style for to long .

  • @jayb64 I dont really have a list because i always wear buns as my protective style

  • hey megz, great vid! can you do a vid on who you detangle your hair when its dry? I'm subbing right now!!!

  • i never even thought of puttin conditioner in my hair as if itz a relaxer.

  • Nice vid.. great info!!

  • Thanks for vid!

Do the results come out better when you deep condition first or are they the same? I aways wanted to try it on dry hair, but I'm so stuck on my routine deep condition after. I though I try something new.

  • @brkertffny2006 I honestly see a small difference. When its done on dry hair it seems to moisturize the hair better and it comes out softer verses after.

  • how long have you been using mane n tail a health and beauty expert told me mane n tail is terrible for the hair do you get good results?

  • @mrswimberly08 Ive been using it for a year and a half now. Alot of ladies on their hair journey have or used it and have seen nice results for deep conditioning.

  • yaay new videos lol !!

  • Can you please do a relaxer video. I stretch the stylist rips my hair. NO MORE. I want to self relax/texlax. You do things step by step, so easy to follow. Please especially show how you do the back of the head, the videos I saw leaves this part out. Thanks

  • @shambaby1 yes thats on the way

  • Can you please do a relaxer video, especially how you do the back of your head. You steps are so easy to follow.

  • @shambaby1 yes thats on the way

  • Thanks for sharing

  • so you can use moisture conditioner for deep conditioner and regular conditioner for an co-wash?

  • @ALB4EVER05 Heey im not sure what you mean by a "regular" conditioner but there are moisturizing conditioners, light protien conditioners, and heavy protien conditioners. To co-wash you would use a cheapy moisturizing conditioner for example V05 moisture milks.

  • lol.. wheres the next section?

  • @smo0chi3 in part 2

  • Your hair got so much thicker

  • @sapphirebhs thanks..i believe so. the castor oil has been working really well for my new growth

  • I love DCing on dry hair. It retains moisture so much better :)

  • @BlueBerryYumYum23 I know i love it also!

  • when you deep conditon is your hair clean?

  • @edmine no its not but the hair is not dirty. In the video I had just washed my hair 3 days ago

  • what have been the benefits of using grapeseed oil in your DC? I have been using it as a sealant only and I think my hair likes it.

  • @whitemenaresexy pormots growth and nutrients etc to the hair. All oils do that. Its just good when you put it into the deep conditions because its actually getting to the scalp and new growth which softens it up.

  • good job megz !!

  • @TheCinnamon1997 thaaanks
