I personally think they did ruin Lars Umlaut and Jimi Hendrix does look like a zombie, but the graphics are overall pretty amazing. You said it yourself, the gameplay's what matters. GHWT has all of that, so there's no reason why it doesn't beat RB2. GHWT > RB2.

It didn't. That's the point. Any legitimate "review" of a game should look at all aspects of the game. Not only should you have started the review stating that you didn't have the full version. It also should have been in the video description and perhaps even the title stating that you reviewed a pre-release demo.

i beat the game on expert but i havent beaten EVERY single song. i played the ending gig (metallica, van halen, BOYB, ect) and the ending credits game up, with disappointing boring credits song, and i still dont have freaking pro face off.

That's why I returned Guitar Hero 3 right when I got it. I HATED that art style. They wanted to go for more realism but the failed... epically. Though, it looks a tad better in this one since it's not borderline gay style with Guitar Hero 2. IT's just gay style which beats that. Overall, I like the game. I might play it right now even! :)

the whole customization of characters and guitar is absolutely pointless with this game. They should have just concentrated and perfect the core game mechanic and online play instead of adding a ridiculously useless sound editor and customization stuff. I rather pay for new songs than make my own because of the super super low quality sound from the editor.

IGN Was too harsh on WT : A 7.9 Mercs 2 score, they just attacked every little problem and compared it to RB2 WAY Too much rather than on it's own. The reviewer was fucking annoying too nagging it's realism.

But my personal review.

GH:WT 8.5

RB2:8.7 since it is kinda funner with friends, GH is still great.
