I don't think people do any experiments now on Apes unless they feel they must anymore. Most tests are done on rats- which are also remarkably close to humans! Which is why things such as depression/anxiety medication is often tested on rats. Rats are also used in cancer research. Not only does this benefit people, but also animals who get the disease.

I'm fairly certain that ALL of those titles require a LOT of research. They don't just hand them out to men with clever sounding accents.

Almost all who believe in evolution, or rather "understand that it's right", it's not a theory, will agree with you that one should try to be a better person and "help the not so lucky". In one way one could say evolution gives this even more reason since all life is related in a way. It all depends on how you interpret it.

I don't think people do any experiments now on Apes unless they feel they must anymore. Most tests are done on rats- which are also remarkably close to humans! Which is why things such as depression/anxiety medication is often tested on rats. Rats are also used in cancer research. Not only does this benefit people, but also animals who get the disease.

And that life does not have to be organic on order to be considered "life".
