Love this. I love Ryan for writing it and you for covering it with a video that really sums up how it makes me feel. People on the outside can laugh when I say how much being involved with Harry Potter has meant to be, but we know it's not really about that. Sure we love the books, but it's about the people we've met and the community we've made together (a place where people are actually nice to each other *SHOCKING*, have an awesome time, and still believe the world can be a better place).

Same here. I'm a 14 year old Norwegian who's loved Harry Potter for nine years now, and I won't be able to go to any conferences if they still have them, or meet any of the friends I've made online and such for at least 4 years.

This makes me to incredible sad. I'm 13, and have loved Harry Potter since I was 5. But because I live in Norway, I have never been able to go to any conferences. I have some friends online, that I'd made through the fandom. But it's hard for me to meet them. I think all of you who have had the chance to go and meet so many great people are damn lucky.
