@Mmmathers4 ~ I don't think you actually understand the lyrics... It was only her 'mind' / her 'awareness' that floated away, she escaped from everything mentally, not physically. So obviously her physical being was still there, hence why she left tear stains.... Besides Between the Trees didn't write what you are criticising... the first verse came from Renee Yohe's diary, they wrote the rest of the song around that verse.

@xEmOxCHiicKx hmm... (I'm no professional but,) I think you need to stop holding things in. Nothing too dramatic, just tell some close friends and family and just let it out. As the song says just weep until you can't anymore. Let yourself break down instead of preventing the inevitable. Then when you're completely broken and the tears have been let out, build back up again. It'll take work and definitely take time but make an effort to make things better again and build yourself strong.

I thought it would contain more diary entries rather than poems; and it's really hard to decipher her handwriting. But I am extremely passionate about TWLOHA. My college recently started a TWLOHA chapter and I can't wait to get involved!
