I can see using time travel into the past, but not the future. THe past has already happened and all that stuff, so that make it seem more tangible to me. of course, people from the future could come to now wich would be their past, which would in turn suggest that the future already exist so future time travel is possible, but my brain is only so big that i don't want to think too hard about this.

the closer you get to the speed of light the slower the rest of the world will seem to you. if you were to put a clock in a space ship, sync it up with a clock on earth and send the ship to the sun and back at the speed of light one clock would read let's say 18 seconds (of course that's not it) and the other would read something shorter if it wasn't burned by it's quick stop to the core of the sun.
