This seems to work brilliantly. Now it will be amazing if there was a supported way to exit the vehicle upwards/back, so that you are lifted out out through the top down to the back of the car by some hydraulic lift ! That way you can stack lots of these cars side by side in parking lots without requiring any sideways margin for exiting. I hope for such solutions.

In the mean time I'm loving my Jetta TDI's mpg. I have 165k on it and get 46mpg driving hard and 53mpg driving easy it runs great up in Minnesota winter too. I haven't got any big costs I've read about while doing research before purchasing. I guess doing simple maint. every 12k-15k is paying off. I think I'll run it 'til she dies! AKA: A cost of over $500USD in repairs. I'm definitely a TDI fan, and I'm sorry to hear about some of the issues others have had ruining their belief in Diesel power.

It is leaning, and if you notice, it leans into the corner, it's not dragged outwards. It's a very neat idea they had, I personally like it. Loading the inside wheels makes it easier to corner.

We don't need this car, but the development can really be useful.

We have to focus on more than the car and enviroment itself, but also functionality because there's going to be more people in the world.

And yuskjr; as you say, this car alone is not the solution for many out there, but maybe for some. Just as I think there will be more than one kind of cars that's enviroment-gentle, there will also be more than one type of cars. Some for families, some for the travellers etc etc.

The below car should utilize the best battery tecknology, if that is NiMH, or Lion. Batteries should last the life of the car, or for a warranty period, at least as long it takes to pay off the car. We (the Consumer) want a car that is a starting platform for future advancements for alternative fuels, lower cost to buy and operate. Don't tell me you can not deliver this, I have seen it.
