I live just around from East Garforth and thought there had been a crash when heard emergency sirens. It wasn't until the day after we heard about it.
If this started at like midnight im surprised i didnt hear or see owt since i went to bed 15 mins before n my stepdad works at the royal mail ( on there)
I live on Swillington common, and when I heard all the high pitched screamers I honestly thought it was fireworks. I got a text this morning about 1.25 telling me thered been an explosion and didnt actually realise when, where it was until i woke up and found that the road was cordened off and i couldnt get out of my house because of big water pipes :/ I just wanna know what happened and why. :/ I see now that the water tanks and the fire engines are leaving...
my house is behind there and i cant even walk down to see if its still standing. me and our lass looked out of our bedroom window at midnight and saw waste care on fire. then had to run out of our house and get all the neibours up and out. bad shit everything i have is in that house.

Lol I know! All I saw at 1am was the black smoke covering the sky we went for a nosey in the car and got moved on =/

i was stood outside the old George for the first house of it, could see it all from my bed room window too, went on four at least 4 hours.
