i said Vista never crashes on me... that is i never receive any BSOD... true, there are errors, but not a lot... from stability point of view, Vista is very stable OS... also, i never had virus...

iLife... only thing is useful is iMovie and iLife... GarageBand... never use it... iWeb... you need you .Mac account... which i don't want pay for it... well, iLife is still a very good application, i can't deny that... iLife is shining point of Mac OS X....

vista is better than xp by far and windows 7 is better than vista by far, but i have never had a more secure os than mac. also you dont need a dot mac account to publish iweb sites, there is a way around that.

also u garageband is pretty fun to mess around with.

YES! Waiting for Windows 7... Windows 7 gonna be sweet (gonna use pirate version). However, i still gonna upgrade to snow leopard ($129, too expensive for student, even i can get some discount, if pirate version available, i gonna use pirate version)... iWeb... don't use that often, since i don't usually update my blog or i don't have a personal website... anyway, i never used iWeb and Garageband. Also, i never use iChat. All my friends using MSN. there just no people using iChat accounts, sad

In my poinion, the superbar, is just variation of quick launch. Think about it, you can launch program from both superbar and quick lunch bar. Also, i don't believe what Apple said. No matter Gadgates or quick search, those functionalities appeared on Windows Longhorn before Tiger come put, eventhough Windows Longhorn never sold on the market. No matter what, Microsoft is improving their produces, that is good thing for all PC user and some Mac users.

its half like the quick launch BUT in this you can drag ur most used apps to the dock and they will stay there, there is only one icon no matter how many windows are open. seems alot like the dock to me.

i bet the next windows when u go over the icons they will get bigger lmao XD

then they will put the start bar at the top and make a mac looking dock XD

then they will change the name to mac OSwindows XD

Microsoft isnt improving, they are just changing there stuff to be more like mac.

you can drag apps on the quick launch bar. And you can active that app. What happens is that Microsft jsut integrate quick lanuch bar with the task bar. Which make superbar looks like an dock. You can't call that copy. I don't think Microsoft will actually let you go over the icon and the icon get bigger. Since you always have the color changes. There is no point for Microsoft do that. Also, Microsoft do not have any reason put sart menu on the top.

also, if you look Windows 7 in deepth, you will notice performance improvement. The most noticed on is search. Anyway, end user do not care who copies who, they just care who has more functonalities and who has more compatibility. At least, i don't really care if Microsoft copies Apple or Apple copies Microsoft or Linux... i just care if it work.

the reason to put the start bar on the top is because Microsoft cant think of there own ideas so they will have to copy off mac yet again. windows is just a cheep rip off mac weather u like it or not, the facts are there.

OK, Microsoft do have their own ideas. Quick launch bar allow you quickly access program since Windows 95. Dock didn't appear until Mac OS X. Time machines, is a variation of Microsoft's volume shadow copying. Quick search (Spot light in Mac OS X) first appear on Windows Longhorn, same as Windows side bar. Microsoft come up with Ribbon, very good feature on Microsft Office. Now Ribbon is integrated on Windows 7. Apple try to copy MS paint, but they failed. Conslusion, MS do have their own ideas

I know Mac is useless just because i have one, and i know i couldn't do anything with it. That is also why i installed Windows Vista on my Macbook. Compare with two OS, i like Windows better, simply because i can do more in Windows than Mac OS X. Also, Windows vista never crashes on me. Mac SUCKS! period.

Macbook Pro is just an overpriced, good-looking and not that powerful machine. Of course Apple fanboys gonna love it, because they love everything Steven Jobs throw to them. Macbook Pro is so overpriced, so that i can buy two same configured Windows PC on that price. Mac fanboy think Macbook Pro isn't overpriced just because it includes the Mac OS X and the shitty iLife? Macbook Pro is cheaper? i can find a PC with 2G, 320G HDD, slightly slower processor (PC usually have T5xxx or T7xxx Core 2 Duo) and same graphic card that macbook pro has in 1000 -1500 price range. How much does 15 inch macbook pro cost? you can get your base model about $2000, remember this is $2000. Do you think it is reasonable for Apple prices their Macbook Pro at that high price?

PC's today actually use the E8xxx and E7xxx Core 2 Duos, and are actually faster than the laptop equivalent.

Also the 9600M GT in the macbook is significantly slower than the PC 9600 GT, due to the PC version having higher clock speeds and a larger memory bus width.

Laptops are inherently more expensive since the parts used have to have a much lower TDP and are smaller than Desktop equivalents(25W P9600 vs 65W E8200). Better quality silicon is needed to get the TDP down, which is expensive

I totally agree!!! I have the generation 1 MBP and I think its better than the 08 version. I don't like how the new version looks and the glass trackpad, generation 1 is just better looking and handles better, in my opinion.
