First the Health Care Plan proposed a sweeping reform but ran into many road blocks from both the health care industry and the Democratic majority Congress. Welfare reform was necessary, gave people 5 years to get off of welfare, offered many training programs, and is considered successful. Don't be fooled by sound bites. Please, read the history on both of these programs.

Barack Obama spoke out against the War in Iraq before it began. His 2002 anti-war speech was politically unpopular, but he spoke out against it anyway. That speech clearly laid out the "reality of invading Iraq." Obama would be an outstanding "head of state" as President. Obama can earn world-wide respect, which is critical for settling the U.S.-International, economic and foreign relations issues. That will be step 1.

At least she knows how to make a decision and not vote "present" on hot button issues. Her decision happened to not work out. If the Iraq war was successful you wouldn't be saying this. The point is people can win over "Red States" and make them "Blue States".

Superdelegates were intended to act as a counterweight to a system which might allow someone (like McGovern and now Obama) to win lots of caucuses in red states and thus
overproduce a delegate count which did not match his/her electability. They were not meant to rubber-stamp the pledged delegates.

I've been saying this for years. I've never liked Sen Clinton for this very reason. When she was in Selma last year she put on this fake southern accent that made me cringe. She insults my intelligence with her pandering and fake attitude. This is a woman who is more than just merely ambitious; she will say or do anything to win presidency. That includes destroying her own party. She lost me when she endorsed McCain over Obama by stating that she and McCain were ready to lead country, not Obama.

A couple of follow up comments on the Bill Clinton administration. First the Health Care Plan proposed a sweeping reform but ran into many road blocks from both the health care industry and the Democratic majority Congress. Welfare reform was necessary, gave people 5 years to get off of welfare, offered many training programs, and is considered successful. Don't be fooled by sound bites. Please, read the history on both of these programs.

What she's really saying is that each superdelagate counts as much as each pledged delegate. Nevada had like eleven pledged delegates.
