That's cool !!! , i've just purchased a seeburg consolette ( sc-1 ) wallbox , i've notice you have a credit switch hooked up to yours ..i'm having problems trying to get mine to free-play ..is this because it's unable ..or is it easy to do what you did , adda credit button..Please let me know ..need help !!!..Thanks dude .
The wallbox just tells the jukebox what record to play The restaurant probably has a hideaway in the back but it is broke down or ben removed If all the wall boxs are still there they can get a data sync board to run them and use a I pod to replace the jukebox I think that is what Johnny Rockets uses with the 3w1s.
I know that about the hideaway, but the hide away presumably took records as well- but considering the fact that records are not very common any more and when new songs are written they don't get put on records any more, that's what I mean. Also most of the in-seat jukeboxes had broken page-turning knobs- well actually the gears that turned the pages were broken. If the pages were still operational they probably would have done what you said-replaced the hidaway record player with a computer
@dickcheney6 vintage coin op is doing the diner in seneca falls that is on 5 & 20 it has 200 select 3w1 type boxes the hideaway is in the basement and broken down so they are replaceing it with a data sync

Those vertical record playing jukeboxes are my favorite!!! I always wondered how the tonearm stayed on the record. But I figured it was by springs and stuff holding it in place.
the power control box was complicated and took me a week to figure out and build it turns on the juke but not the speekers or lights on juke when used at remote but will turn on entire juke when turned on at juke. i lost the diagrams i made for it and don't remember how i wired it but it took a week and i know i could sell the boxes if i had time to make them.
the consolette is hooked up but also is run in to a stereo system in each room that has a consolette the credit switch is hooked up to the inside swith for $.25 there was no slug rejectors and i did not want to have to open the box and empt all the time. The power is run to the main jukebox and a relay turns on the power I built a box that has 3 relays. the box can be seen on seeburg yahoo group
I've seen the relay box, once again a clever modification. I kind've assumed the consolettes had tinny sound (hence the addon speakers I guess) but I guess it would be better to hook up the stereos. Final question, can each consolette be powered up independently or do they all power up once the button is pushed. Thanks for the speedy reply.
Hey ..Do you know off hand what you conected the wires to for the credit button inside the wall box ...I've been at it for about 3 days and have no idea ...and dont want to connect it to the wrong part ..i did find the Single credit jumper & the Coin switch jumper ( on the left side of the wallbox )....if you can help that would be great
Thanks again dude ...the slug rejector is at the bottom of the coin mech. & 3 switches for diffrent amounts , so it's one of them ...got it ..i tried tripping the 3 of them with a screwdriver a couple of days ago ..and got nothing..i've got a feeling the coin setup is incorrect ..i'll follow the wires and see what i can come up with . Thanks again

What's the sound quality like on the stereo consolette itself? And how's the power and credit switch wired into it? (Clever mod btw).
