In this video description it says that you are using a bare knuckle aftermath in the bridge. I want to replace the bridge pickup of my Ibanez rg 2250, and i was also thinking in a aftermath pickup.

Do you like this bridge pickup? do you have dislikes in this pickup?

Ola do u prefer floyd rose tremolo over just string-thru-body bridge. Some say that string-thru-body bridge has more sustain and better tone than floyd. and which one stays in tune better ?

@Dimitribujiashvili Body through does have better sustain and it picks up more tone from the body of your guitar. Although you buy weights for your floyd which both boost sustain and thicken your tone.

So you really don't have to compromise much one or the other way, i prefer body through since tuning a guitar with floating bridges pisses me off and takes too much time.

@Dimitribujiashvili a floyd is just way crappier to set up. you cannot change tunings without an operation, you cannot change strings without operation, and it does actually take away sustain. if you dont need a floyd dont buy one, if you want a floyd dont buy a shitty one. the top notch ibanez edge and zr trems are good, aswell as the schaller original floyd and the schaller licensed one. bout tuning: string thru with decent tuners is normally better. floyd can be equal if it's a rly good one!

I just got a set of BK Aftermath's for one of my 6'ers. Wow! I've been playing Seymour's passive, some active Blackouts and some Dimarzio's for over 15 years now and the Bare Knuckles are hands down the best pups I've ever played through. They're pricey, but wow, clarity, girth, smooth and defined. Amazing. Oh and your vid and playing is good too....hahaha! Cheers!

@runelink2 put the microphone close to your speaker, then plug the mic into a usb interface and that to a pc, then record on a recording software. ola has made an instructional video of that too.

I remember seeing the folks from Strictly 7 guitars at the Dallas International Guitar festival, but I didn't try them out or anything, because there was this obnoxious kid advertising some bullshit "metalcore" concert. Truly regret not bearing the annoyance and at least picking up a guitar. The entire rest of the festival was just focused on country and blues players, Strictly 7 was the only one that catered to the metal crowd.
