  • Recovery Manager is not on my computer. What. The. Fuck.

  • @Slaytounge What PC model do you have and did you install a new OS on the PC?

  • @howto4u

I cannot start or get to the recovery screen with the disks on botg ssd and hdd

  • @halo213000 You may need to go into your BIOS and set the PC to boot from the disc drive first so that the PC will start from the Recovery discs.

  • what do u do at the second recovery page! !??

  • @LovePinkOmg143 What do you mean by the second recovery page?

  • @howto4u

    Hi,

I tried the recovery manager and it says recovery on the hp logo but it does not say windows is loading files.....

I tried the recovery discs on an ssd I used but it said (system not compatible with these discs) so will it work with the discs without the SSD please respond ASAP I need my computer very bad

  • @halo213000 I'm a little confused. Are you saying that you created the recovery media on the SSD rather than on discs? Or are you saying you tried using the recovery discs with an SSD drive that didn' come with the computer? If you added a hard drive to the PC, I would disconnect it and run the recovery on the PC using the original hard drive. Try to get the hardware on the PC to be as close to how it was when you bought it. So, just a keyboard, mouse, monitor, and PC.

  • Thanks

  • Any response?

  • @halo213000 see below

  • Yep :D Thanks For Your Help But Did It In Another Way :D

  • @ howto4u Will it work? Will it destroy my computer and force me to pay hp 1,000,000 to fix my computer. I am asking because alot of comments are saying that they have a hard time doing this and it's not working for them. PLEASE RESPOND AND TELL ME IF IT'S SAFE FOR ME TO RUN THIS.

    Thanks :)

  • @halo213000 Recovery works for most computers. There are times that some people have issues with it, but a lot of times the errors are the result of changes that were made to the computer, like wiping out the hard drive or having failed hardware, etc.. I don't know anything about your PC, so it's hard for me to say what will or won't work. You mainly see comments from the people who struggled with it. Most people it works for and they don't need to leave a comment or question.

  • @howto4u

    Hey!

I wanted to ask you that I hot alot of viruses and I mean alot!!! Well MBAM removed them but I got a call from this jerk who was saying that I have viruses in the backup of my computer! Alot of technicians have told me this is a scam but just asking you is it safe for me to recover my computer using the recovery partition? I just want to erase all my junk and start over will it fail in the middle of everything? Will it work? Will it destroy my computer and force me to pay hp 1,00

  • @halo213000 I've been hearing about a lot of different ways they talk about your computer being either hacked or contains viruses. They then ask about your information and may even ask about your contract with Microsoft and other computer software/operating systems. It's a scam to be honest. It's most likely a telemarketer. Ignore those calls.

  • Any Link For The Recovery Manager ?

  • @MrSHNXRB Recovery Manager should already be installed on your PC.

  • @howto4u Can't Find It :/ ......

  • @MrSHNXRB What PC model do you have?

  • @howto4u HP Pavilion G60

  • @MrSHNXRB Did you wipe out the original software and install a new operating system on it?

  • U SUCKS, U can do this without CD

  • @naruto38569 You are correct. Just as the video shows, you can run a recovery from the hard drive or even a USB flash drive if you used that to create the recovery media.

  • recovery manager doesnt work for me!

  • @TheCollapsing What do you mean? Can you tell me more about the problem?

  • @howto4u If I use Recovery Manager I click on system restore, than it just restarts normally. Nothing happends =/, I've tried F11 but also nothing happenend....i've a HP

  • @TheCollapsing I see. Well System Restore is not the same as System Recovery. System Restore will just roll your PC software and settings back to a date that you select. This option is available in Recovery Manager for people who want to try rolling their PC back to fix a problem before going through a full recovery that wipes out all the software and re-installs the original software.

  • @howto4u I also tried system recovery, the same happends, just restarting normally. This is because my pc was broken once, and fixed by a pc repairman. I really don't want to buy a new PC but still want to change it back to it's original form. I don't have any CD, do you know what I should do? Or am I able to buy a recovery CD or something? Thanks for the reply!

  • @TheCollapsing Hmmmm.... I'm thinking the PC repair guy must have wiped out the information that was on the recovery partition. To go back to original software now, you'll need recovery discs. Depending on how old your PC is, you may still be able to order discs from HP. If you go to w w w . hp . com and then search for the model name of your PC and the terms "order recovery discs", you should be able to find info on how to order.

  • @howto4u I guess your right..Thanks a lot anyway :). I subbed!

  • @howto4u Hello! I tryed to do it without disks just to make the computer as new and in the middle of the hole process it gives an error like Could not be completed and i restart the computer and i have no BOOT MGR it says. I call HP Support and i order the disks. When i get the disks i do as the instructions in the manual and in this video and the same error is given at something like 70% Please help me. I need my computer for work and turning it in to service would take weeks. Please help

    Samuel

  • @ImmortalDubStep Was there an error or problem with the computer prior to you running the recovery? It sounds like your Windows Boot Manager file is corrupt. You could try repairing the Windows install first and then try running recovery.

  • Good Video

  • Thanks
