@MrBonesaw1000 Guests of the park can technically park in the employee lot as there are no permits/security clearances necessary to park there. The one problem you may have however is when you walk from the employee lot across Feedmill Rd. to the guest lot, security/police might see what you are doing and confront you about it. Your best chance would be to do this on a very busy day when guest parking spills over into the overflow lot across the road and many people are walking across it anyway.
@MagicMountainInsider so is it not allowed? And what happens if they do catch you? Do you work there? And if not, do they really care if u park there or not? BTW sweet revolution vid :)
@MrBonesaw1000 Yes, I do currently work there. Officially, guests are not allowed to park in the employee lot. What I meant is that the employee lot itself is not patrolled for trespassers as permits are not required and there's no way to tell the difference between an employee's/non-employee's vehicle. The problem would be to walk across the road and into the empty part of the guest lot without being noticed by security. I'm not sure what they would do if they caught.......
@MagicMountainInsider you doing this as I do not work for the security department. All I can say is if you do try it it's at your own risk. They know people try to evade the $15 parking fee. That's why I suggested trying it on a very busy summer day when parking goes into the overflow and people are crossing the road anyway. If you're looking for a more legitimate option, you can park at the mall and take Santa Clarita Transit Route 3 or 7 to the park for $1. Hope this helps.
Cool :-) Been a long time since I worked there - looks like the old part of the road hasn't changed at all, but the firt part is a bit different with the stop siign and that other road. Thanks for the ride!
That is soooo cool! I have always wondered what it was like to get to work with all the fun rides and things! Do you get to run the roller coasters?
