if anyone knows the chords jerry is playin (and the configeration) i love to know!!. you can email me at simon.fawcitt@yahoo.co.uk... the beat farmers are my fav band and i'd love to keep their alive by covering them.....thanks
i am so glad that i have experienced the BFers live, they are one of the finer things in life, and i will go to my grave a "happy boy" Thank you Beatfarmers for completing my life.
Well, I may not have as much to "complete" as you, but I do appreciate alot of the simpler things in life, whether it be the Beatfarmers or the best Blowjob, OK, no offense taken.
I agree. I'm a Springsteen fan(atic), but this is one of those rare occasions that someone else got to the essence of the song before Bruce. Although, the Man's version of this song on the Magic tour....
I caught them in concert twice, and it was a highlight of my life. I was really surprised by Country Dick's drumming. He was really good. I think he was known more for coming out into the audience, singing a funny song, and splashing everyone with beer. What a great band!
@NomoDoEye here here! i 2nd that! us homies needed something like the B'F's to wipe away the sour taste of the biggest song ever by an SD band, Dont Worry/Be Happy.... ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh
this is f'n superb

It's from "Tales of the New West", the BFs first "album", circa 1984 or 1985. The whole album kicks ass.

Wow this brings back memories, pretty blurry ones at that. Saw them at the Star Bar in ATL when Dick was still with us.

This is great; the studio version absolutely kicks; it may be the best version ever. Period.
And, yes, i *do* mean better than Brooce's.
