  • This guy gets it......The Feds are totally clueless.....when will we learn? The Dimocrats don't know anything except spend.....

  • This CFC insanity ends Monday.

Lets hope it stays that way.

  • Here's a legitimate example of Conservatives trying for jobs in the US instead of in another nation. The oil industry. There's tons of it right under our feet, but the liberals/democrats are too worried that in 500 years the earth may heat up on average about 2 degrees......but "Gawd" knows they won't debate the issue, Al Gore is one who wont. But of course, what is he scared of, he's got a private jet, tons of money/houses, Nobel Peace prize. Of course he won't debate at all.

  • So, yeah that qualifies you as a moron. You present absolutely no arguement anymore, except the fact that you should have gone after something that didn't cost you very much. Which leads me to the conclusion "the guy down the street subsidized you a**". Oh by the way, my main thing is not for supporting big businesses, it's for supporting their right to be a big business, as well as everyone else's right to do the same. Why can't YOU open a business? Is that just TOO hard?

  • Hey, I bet you didn't realize that in the US, businesses are taxed higher than any other nation.......hmmm maybe that's why businesses are closing/woking elsewhere. You're not at fault for the government handling their money, you're at fault for contributing to it....tolerating corruption is what I mentioned a bit ago. The problem is not with the ones doing the evil, it's the ones that don't do anything about it.

  • If your old car ran fine, then there was no reason to get a new one. I going out on a limb here by saying you've never had to truly suffer anything, everything was always provieded for you...am I right? :) I now you aren't any Conservative who would rather choose to work for themselves but rather take advantage of anything "you" can get for free.

  • it's not MY fault the GOV doesn't handle it's money the way you'd prefer. But I'd be a complete IDIOT NOT to get what I got. What... should I go without to save the Gov debt while others line up and reap the benefits? Hell no I was the first at my dealer to ask about the program. Better to get it then sit and LOSE. Blame Obama not me. Clinton did NAFTA but the republicans have coddled big business for years and the REPS pushed at Clinton for NAFTA. No we have no jobs no money.

  • And since you're throwing around this whole accusation of "how much I support Bush" then why don't you tell me how I support Bush, instead of stating that because I don't agree with what the current administration is doing, means I supported the last one. I didn't support the Enron Scam, which evidently led to Cap and Trade. I didn't support the bank bailouts and the two stimulus packages. I didn't support what they did to the housing industry.

  • @ taylor22222222. Well good for you, you didn't agree with the Enron scam [clapping hands] but really hmmm who will pay for C.A.R.S you know good question I really don't know hmmm TAXPAYERS? Did I say it was right, did I create the program? Should I NOT have took advantage when I was in bad need of something better, ALSO good questions. I DO think the universal healthcare would B more important. Uh OH more taxes!!

  • That's just it, taxpayers are not paying for all these projects, they are printing it! Can you say "hyper inflation"? And what you're doing is tolerating corruption because it's convenient for you (you're getting an exteremely cheap car......well, cheap for you anyways). It's like this, you can change the price figures around, but the cost remains. And right now, nobody is paying for it because it's printed money. Don't you think those are just a few good reasons not to contribute to it?

  • Oh, and let me just inform you this useful tad bit of information.....WE HAVE NO MONEY! THERE IS NO TAXPAYER MONEY LEFT RIGHT NOW! Why does our future have to subsidize all these programs because you need a new car, or you dont' "want" to have to pay for this or that. Oh, but Gawd knows you need that new car. Do you ever wonder what happens when the Government needs a bailout? Here's a great piece of advice, why don't you check out the film "I.O.U.S.A". You'll start to understand "debt"

  • @taylor22222222. My old van had a rear main seal leak and had 150,000 miles it's interior fan died on the way to trade it in it's transmission slipped and the roof leaked. yeah it was time for new YOU just ASSumed it ran fine. NOW... did I create the program? No So bitch at someone else. Why do you spell it as "Gawd"?? The U.S hasn't had money in years. Why? Because big businesses like GM leave our country for china, they had money they just moved it to china. Reps coddle big business.

  • I have an idea for you for that car. GET A JOB and fix it or buy a new one yourself! It's just as bad you contribute to it because that's what drives the program for more funding, so yeah you're kinda lil bit to blame. I spell the way I want...lol. The US GOVERNMENT has nothing to do with private industries....until now, but they shouldn't. And the reason big companies turn to other countries is because they are freakin taxed to death in the US. It's cheaper to work anywhere else.

  • Oh and I got my Pontiac G5 [an american car] NOW for $7,683 out the door! I got even more discounts. Yeah THAT cheap and it's NOT a base car it has some expensive features on it. Now I'm waiting for the dealership to get reimbursed before I pick it up. So this guy does NOT know what he's talking about. They can't KEEP the G5's on their lots because of this program!

  • Yeah, and the guy down the street from you subsidized your expensive a**.

  • @taylor22222222. Really? Well maybe I "subsidized my own expensive a**" Through MY taxes as well. huh I hope you helped me pay for it too..... you asshole. You think taxes are bad in the states? You should go live in europe for awhile THEN you'll see some fuckin' taxes. But I guess maybe Bush's war in Iraq you know the ones who DIDN'T do 9/11 is okay to pay for.

  • No, no you didn't. Our future generations to come have to pay for it though, on account of that money was printed, hence we have a deficit not a surplus. Taxes aren't wrong, but when the government decides that they can take care of every aspect of a persons life by taking nearly all the money I make, then there's a problem. And I just love the way you libs/democrats think that because we strongly disagree with the current administration, apparently means we supported the last one.

  • I don't know what you think you can accomplish by going after me but I gotta tell you that I never made the fucking C.A.R.S program. I'd be a complete IDIOT NOT to use it. I needed a new vehicle it was done it had a rear main seal leak the fans inside the dash ALL failed it had very high mileage and sucked gas like a Hummer. I could either spend the money restoring a guzzler or just buy new. yes I'm sure you do like bush you'd prob "service" him if he asked you to. Most reps would. Suckasses.

  • Oh, okay, I see. When I question the system, you categorize it as an assault, way to go now you're truly showing democratic/liberal principles. Which brings me to the question: How do you propose we pay for this? Great idea, but the path pretty much defeats the purpose you know. And Gawd knows you're correct, I absolutely worship the ground Bush walks on, boy you caught me on that one!

  • You sit there feeling intelligent yet you fail to realize that GM and Ford and chrysler DO have fuel efficient cars. I have recently bought a Pontiac G5 which gets 24 city 33 highway and will get even better in real life! I bought it through the cash 4 clunkers and will get it when it goes into effect. I got a brand new G5 for $10,183 out the door. with my 13 mpg 2000 AWD GMC Safari van. over $9,000 off with my GM discount, trade in and $4,000 pontiac rebate.

  • wow 33highway did you know that GM had a car company back in the 90's that almost all of it's cars got 37mpg highway or higher it was called saturn, now there gonna sell it and in 2001 they made a pretty good size saturn s1 i believe that got 38highway GM had the tech to do these things but some dumbass CEO took over in 2001 and with him he told a hand full of people from the old place he used to work for and made them work at GM they messed GM up and i hate them for doing so, cash 4 clunk sucks

  • @nickv11763. Yeah I know Saturn had fuel efficient cars back in the 90's they were excellent on gas then they stopped and made less efficient ones for no reason... straying from what their company was about! But what the hell does THAT have to do with cash for clunkers?

  • nothing just pointing out that if we had the tech to make a full sized car in 2001 that got 38hwy miles and it didn't even have to be a hybird

  • Fuel efficiency is in the eye of the beholder. My new car gets over 50 mpg and is roomier than my Ford Focus. Can the Big Three match that? I addressed that issue in a later video...

  • yes they can but the oil company has a big say in how many mpg a U.S. car can get b/c they want to make sure theres aways a high demand for oil 50mpg is good but what if i told you theres a 4 cyc. turbo diesl race car that got a 120mpg while going 120mpg well audi made one so if that can be done i'm sure the U.S. can make a car that gets 50mpg

  • @ mudd0359 the owner of this video. 50mpg you say? then you asked could the big three do that? Hm does THAT mean that you DON'T have a domestic american automobile? If you DO live in the states then why foreign? After all you put down the program because you THINK it won't sell domestics which you are dead wrong on. 50mpg it's either a volkswagon 2.0 diesel or a hybrid OR you are just a liar.

  • 2010 Toyota Prius. I average 20-25 thousand miles a year. I need the extra mpg to survive the gasoline prices which seem to vary widely.

  • @ mudd0359. OOOOO I SEEEEEEEEEEEE you buy foreign then think YOU have room to talk down on the C.A.R.S program for not giving the domestic auto companies business. I think with 20 to 20,000 miles a year you could get by with a Chevy cobalt or Pontiac G5 which can get up to 37MPG [EPA] and EVEN more with a light foot. But you aren't patriotic enough to own that.

  • GM, Ford and the others make plenty of small cars. But no one wants them. I like a huge car.

  • How so true this is my friend. Thank you for the truth. People are so not going to GM, Ford, or any American auto maker just because of this. I also can say this rule of thumb that I even learned from my grandfather: if it is still chugging along, fix it up and it will run stronger. Pretty much what this Cash for clunkers is is something they made to try and fix something that is broken beyond repair.
