  • Ya I can seeing get the fry a home I have the same probom whith my ducks sorry I can't spell today

  • Hi do you get a female for them I bet they would give you cool looking bettas

  • @gunner8254 No, I do not breed them. I don't have the space to care for that many bettas and would have no reliable way of finding homes for them.

  • where did you get the divider...i had one but it was my uncle...

  • one question.. i have a 5 gallon with a divider like yours.. my filter is on one side and the heater on the other..but for some reason it doesnt seem to filter all the way around the tank..? is this happening to you aswell? if not any suggestions?

  • look they turn at the same time 0:26

  • the betta on the right has a neat color!

  • Where did you get this tank? I can't seem to find a dual 5 gallon one.

  • @kinseycola The tank did not come divided. I got a regular five gallon (from Wal mart) and made the divider from plastic mesh.

  • @kinseycola how did you make the divider? Besides the mesh, the tings that hold it in? Also where did you get the supplies? Thanks

  • @adamdavidrodgers The sides that hold it in place are made from report covers (the kind with a clear plastic page cover and a plastic side that just slides on and off), which I found at Staples.

  • It looks cute. :)

  • I was thinking about using plastic mesh for a divider. I want my bettas (male and female) to see each other so they can interact. Can they see each other through the mesh?

  • @azndrifter87 Yes, they can see each other.

  • Love the tank love the video! =))

  • how many litres are each fish living in? :) my bettas are living in 12.5 litres. (they are sharing a divided 25 litres tank and seems very fine with that :)

  • Wow, have they always been this chilled out together? I just divided my betta Sumo's tank and put another one of my males on the other side and they look like they just want to kill eachother - they never stop flaring and running up and down and length of the divider it is madness - they have only been sharing the tank for a day - will they eventually get used to eachother?

  • @hyphywifeyxox

Give it a little time, but if they don't stop flaring, try putting some plants or something along the divider to break up their view of each other. That can help.

  • @hyphywifeyxox depends on your bettas but that will really stress them out can leave them easy to disease n sickness, you should get plants to cover the dividers

  • I myself was considering dividing my five gallon, but I'm concerned that 2.5 gallons would be too small. They seem to active enough. Do you notice a difference between behaviors of a single betta in a five gallon to two in a five gallon?

  • How many litres is just one?

  • nice tank!

  • do they ever blow bubbles?

  • im guessing they cant see each other through that? i have a 10 gallon tank that i want to divide in half, so i can get another betta, but i can only find clear ones.

  • @wolverine1865 I have a 10 divided. just posted a vid

  • whered you get the deviders?

  • @jeni1994 That divider was home-made using plastic mesh (found in the crafts section of Wal Mart and plastic sliders from report-cover kits, which we found at Staples.

  • @TigerlilsTanks And how did you the sliders to the glass? Did you glue them? People say plastic is hard to glue... I'm thinking about making a provisory home for my male betta fry: I wanted to get a big size crystal plastic organizer and put plastic dividers (not see-through) to keep them before they go to their new homes. I didn't want them in jars or tiny containers...

  • @giovanasamara The divider isn't glued, but it is tight enough that I do need to bend the divider to remove it. When I cut the plastic mesh, I measured it a little big then cut it back a little at a time to ensure a very snug fit. The blue sliders on the side are made from the side pieces to report covers, and once put on, made the fit even tighter. If you want to really secure your dividers, you can use small suction cups on either side to hold it.

  • Nice!

  • I love your tank videos! =]

    Your fish are Beautiful! =]

  • Love the set up, pretty fish. :)
