I have the PC77 with the brown grips (got it at walmart for $60). It really is a great gun, for target shooting, plinking, and hunting. I will try to upload some hunting vids and a detailed review soon. Right now I only have a quick video of it on my channel.
The Crosman 1377 is an excellent pistol. Good fps stock, but with mods it can be really great! Some on youtube compare it to the 2240 (.22 cal - 14.3 gr pellets) and say how weak it is compared to that but they mislead everybody by using light weight pellets with a plastic tip! Using a moded 1377 with Crosman .177 Premier Ultra Magnum pellets (10.5 gr) produces great results and is a good alternative to the 2240 gas gun.
To load in the pellet pull this lever back....... its pull the bolt back to cock the trigger., and then aim the pistol and when on target put finger on trigger and squeeze and the hammer will hit the valve. and up to 600 fps is done by 10 pumps . and its actualy 550, 560 . best go review airsoft toys, you dont know much about anything anyway.
@threelittleniglets everyone knows, its just a joke. He probably got it from watching fpsrussia the gun reviewer. for example: "In soviet Russia apple pie eats you lol"
i wonder if the american version of this gun actually does 600 fps, cause i see it advertised at 495 fps here in canada which is the max speed before you need a licence.is there a difference between the versions??different valve for the us one??
thats to much work. if im hunting i wouldnt have time to pump it over and over. the bird or watever would be gone, so i say this not a gun gun at all.
@fingerZskaterZ ya,this guns more accurate than a bb gun,but can it shoot a 6 shot burst like my umarex steel storm bb gun?....my answer?..buy both, this guns a hun,so is my bb machine gun!
Ignoring the sound of the saw in the background, you're providing somewhat inaccurate info in a store's own advertising. Viewers are correcting you and there's no response from you. You don't identify the type of gun--multi/variable-pump pneumatic with bolt action. You've got a LOT of competition on the 'net, some from guys with much better knowledge of the products they're selling. I'd re-shoot this one if it were my business being promoted, but that's just me.
I have had alot of pellet and bb guns in my life.tell you what this gun here will fuck somebody up pretty bad .it has alot of power almost as bad as being shot with a 22 cal short.thats what i compare it to.very good pistol for the money you can get one at walmart.
I've had this gun for maybe 2 months and have shot maybe 1000 pellets out of it and for a long time have been able to hit cans at approximately 20 yards for quite some time but within about the last 300 rounds I've shot out of it I could barely hit any cans and am wondering if I bought a cheap gun or if I'm suppose to clean out the barrel or if the spring is wearing out or what. Is this common with this gun and if so what should I do about it?
i hav this gun from wen my moms friend had i t wen he was a kid around 60s or 702 back then it was american classic now its pumpmaster classic like u kno that gold thing to load pellets wel instead of the gold thing it was like a cover u pull back then slide forward and it had this thing on the back where wen u pull it its ready to shoot i like the old one more
Another moron with the usual thought of self defense with an AIR GUN!
When its freakin snowing outside, real bullets are more than .50 a pop, an economy that keeps getting worst and who knows if tomorrow I will be in the welfare next in line. I think I will stick with air guns/rifles, but by no means this is not a sport for the poor as easily it can get expensive in a heartbeat.
By the way no need to go to a fire range, simply shoot indoors or safely in backyard.
3 pumps make it faster and more quiet than the clumsy Chinese springer airpistols. The drawback is that in cold weather (about 0 Celsius) the 1377 loses much of its power.
Hi i want to buy another air pistol and i dont want to spend a lot of money on shooting it (1co2 in Bulgaria costs 2dolars ) so if i get 100 good shots from a co2 it is not that bad but if i get 30 40 like with my Crosman 2240 it is really expensive to shoot it .I want something realistic that is accurate and strong like my 2240 be a repeater and good on co2.Can you help ?
would i point it at a pit bull foaming at the mouth and charging...no...i would use a baseball bat or a hockey stick to break its legs and call animal control...
if its a loose domestic, dog, (anything but a wolf ) i would use pepper spray. and then call.
dude i cant wait to get my gun man!!! u know it shoots up to 625 fps with the metal bb's. going to walmart to get mine, it only costs 54.00! great value
@gavanozis It could probably kill you if somebody shot you right in the eye. Just 'cause it's an airgun doesn't mean it's not dangerous...so yes, it can kill rabbits easily. Not that I'd go around shooting them for fun myself, though. D:
@sanderson9999 This gun is not recommended for kids beacause its hard to pump. If you not a kid ive seen people do 10 pumps in 10 seconds that where like 30 if your a yong shooter then yes its harder to pump.
@DJdude250 Costs like $100 there...it's pretty retarded. But that one is a special detuned model that only shoots at 495FPS so it's not illegal to use outside of a gun range in canada...
@jaguarkid140 sure.... keep in mind there are many pistol stances as well and that there isn't recoil to compensate for. the guy's in the video isn't the best
im looking at this gun to hunt rabbits with would anyone tell me what is the kill range for rabbits and squrils. and the best pellets for it ? thanks alot
@123MOOSE85 I use Premier Super Point Pellets, nice entry and exit wound on the hide, if you care for it. It maxs out the velocity and range. Clean kill range for rabbit with those pellets at 6 pumps is about 30 yards at neck or above. Beyond, I haven't had much luck at getting wounds to prevent it from sprinting off before claiming the prize.
@jannefredriksson they can be for large pest control with head shots even small game with head shots but there more or less for a challenge than actual hunting since a 410 or a 20 gauge would work better on squirrels
@uknownprankers no. Thats the beauty of this air pistol. Unlike other pistols, you doont have to waste money on co2 I have one of these and they are really good for small game like rabbits and squirrels
had gun for many years, 10 pumps i have used for maximum. remember a few drops of pell gun oil to lubricate. not all oils are safe for seals. will chrony at 560fps for 7.9gr pellet and 680fps for 5.2gr rws hypermax pellet.
mine must be real old, mine has the thing in the back, when youre done pumping the gun and you load the pellet theres this knob that you pull out to two clicks then you fire... >.> i think the fact that its like 40 years old maybe the reason
@xRANDOMxxGUYx wow, like mine doesnt have the sniper looking loading think it like a pierce of metal you have to like twist so it opens, is yours the same?
@crisisskateteam yea, you can add a scope. just need to buy mounting gears and scope. i believe dickssportinggoods has it. but i dont think you need one though. i can hit a coke can from 30 feet away aiming from the hip.
are you fucking kidding me? a bear? you need a glock with 10mm rounds :) nice blast to it, that would fit in your pack and put up a good fight against a bear, if you can only have an airgun, you better get some bear peeper spray dude..
@Iluvporsche Hell no. This will p!ss off a bear, nothing more. If you didn't know that, maybe you should postpone your trip until you read up a bit on wilderness survival.
@Iluvporsche i think you should get a powful gas semi automatic as if its a single pump it will take 4 ever to reload and if you get a bad shot and only anger the bear your in deep trouble. Or you could get a handgun or rifle XD
i would recomend 1377 for accuracy, it allows you to get those headshots everybody is looking for, but if you want knock down power you should go 2240 because the .22 caliber will really knock them down.... Personally.. i had the same question last year, i went with the 1377 and im definetly not regretting my decision! =)
not as strong as the first ORIGINAL model my unlce has one from the 80s when he was a boyscout, we still use it like we would if it were brand new, so durable great quality. the newer onee? im not so sure its as strong or accurate as the older one.
I have the PC77 with the brown grips (got it at walmart for $60). It really is a great gun, for target shooting, plinking, and hunting. I will try to upload some hunting vids and a detailed review soon. Right now I only have a quick video of it on my channel.

@Iluvporsche Hell no. This will p!ss off a bear, nothing more. If you didn't know that, maybe you should postpone your trip until you read up a bit on wilderness survival.

@Iluvporsche i recomed you get a gun license and buy a handgun
forrestfire12345 1 year ago
@Iluvporsche i think you should get a powful gas semi automatic as if its a single pump it will take 4 ever to reload and if you get a bad shot and only anger the bear your in deep trouble. Or you could get a handgun or rifle XD

@Iluvporsche if you plan on encountering your Teddy bear up for a late night cookie...maybe.
ur gonna need a .50 cal pellet gun for that...they cost about 2000, and it will still take a while for the bear to go down.

Whitch gun is better for hunting squirells 2240 or 1377 plz reply?
Braxipelma 2 years ago
i would recomend 1377 for accuracy, it allows you to get those headshots everybody is looking for, but if you want knock down power you should go 2240 because the .22 caliber will really knock them down....
