  • Yes, Mr. Precision 'Harb', you are FAR OUT!

  • stop motion...briliant!

  • I just heard of George today on Freethought Radio. He's talented, smart and fun. It doesn't hurt that he's cute to boot. I love his facial expressions.

  • @Liberal1969 Yep. he's the best.

  • Far out, man!

  • Outfuckingstanding.

  • Hey, you promised fancy words and I want my fancy words.

  • TinBryn- Good catch but that's not a mistake, it's a commentary. Geo's name is frequently misspelled and it's part of the joke here.

  • did he misspell his last name at 1:17?

  • @TinBryn, yes, yes he did, lol

  • The album that's referred to in the video is actually coming out in a month or two! It says Spring 2009 but it's actually going to be Spring 2010. Album is finished, has been sent to the publisher. Called "Trebuchet." Look for it on iTunes and CD Baby soon.

  • @gobleugirl It is out now!

  • @nulloperations So it is! Thanks for thinking of me. I hope you enjoy.

Can listen for free at Geologic Podcast website (and many others) and buy a copy at CD Baby.

  • ...jamie farr hahahaa...

  • This was so effing awesome.

  • Saw the live solo performance of this yesterday at TAM London and loved it. George is a great entertainer!

  • Please add IYA2009 to this video's tags.

  • That's what happens when precision is your middle name =o

  • You ROCK! It was fantastic! I passed the "paying attention" test on the third viewing.

  • How have I watched this video 3-4 times now and only now notice Phil Plait's Death from the Skies has an appearance. Awesome book!

  • strangely haunting.....

  • why does this make me smile?

  • You look like a lost bald Charlie Chaplin.

  • Bill sent Me here

  • Way to go George!

  • My God it's full of awesome!

  • Excellent! Love the specs.

  • I've had this stuck in my head for days now.

    Damn you George.

Damn you and your prodigious talent.

  • Could watch it again and again. I too have produced for the 365 days... should be in May. Sydney Observatory.

  • Awesome. Just plain great. It took a while to load, but, it was worth the wait. You can be sure I was paying attention.

  • Geo is, as usual, amazing. He's Far Far Far and away the consummate performer. Love ya Geo!

  • Very good !

  • Vibra-slap?

  • Like... Jamie Farr.

  • Great! Just listening to the podcast and thought I'd check out the vid.

    Looking forward to the album.

  • This video is such an epic win.

5 stars, and this is going in my favorites for sure.

  • I love you.

  • I like the hammer

  • I did not understand the meaning behind the hammer and what was around the handle.

  • I believe the orange line stuff around the handle was simply the handle of the hammer.

Why the hammer is there, I do not know. I am not sure.

  • I can only assume it has to do with the idiom, "when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail." At least, that's what I got from it.

  • Great video. Astronomy needs more of this kind of thing - all the sciences do, really... well, except for chemistry. Screw those guys.

  • Woohoo! Love IYA and the podcast and this song just is so perfect for it.

  • Thanks for the Darwin Day present George!

  • Nice Video - I'm Impressed with the quality that is possible with that sort of budget - or non-budget.

  • Love all of your funky hats Mr. "Harb"!!!

  • Phil Plait FTW

  • Hahahaha... I love that Jamie Farr has a cameo appearance in this video! LOL Nice work, Geo...as always!

  • This video was so cool it woke me up at work this morning. Was going to down a mountain of caffeine, but I saw this and didn't need to. Rock on.

  • Every time I listen to this song on the 365 days of astronomy I cant help but dance a little in my chair. Love you Mr Hrab

  • BTW> Has Phil been told about his "plug"?

  • Fun fun fun! I think the bowler should become a permanent part of the 'George Hrab Look'.

  • Permanent, but sporadic. The bowler should be occasional, like Geos' songs for the periodic table.

  • Awesome. I love the hat. Did Geo bring that back from Texas?

  • I mean, I know who George Hrab is, but this George Harb I've not heard of. Is it an evil twin? But what to do if you are the evil twin? Then, is your twin the good twin?

  • Who is George Precision Harb?

  • Nice gift for Darwin Day :)

  • LOL. Great stuff, George. :D

  • awesome

  • That's far

  • great vid! haha. good stuff.
