I don't think an SS rank is wrecked as soon as you take damage. I've taken one or two hits on mission 13 on normal and hard, but it still ranked an S on damage, and the amount you're allowed to take before dropping to A seems to increase with difficulty, though I'm not sure if DMD decides to be cruel and zero it (not worthy enough for a DMD SS).

@BobSPACEfSPACEit Yep.  DMD Damage requirements is a ZERO for all DMD Missions. Quite different from the other modes.

that level is just a load of BS. I can't even get past the part the time glass room because you have to kill all the enemies in less than 1 and a half minutes, otherwise they just respawn

It's not impossible. Many people have done it before because they are "MASTERS" of DMC3. The keyword is master. They practice over and over again until their strategy comes out perfectly. Just dodge and combo. And keep the combos fresh to collect a lot of orbs. Learn enemy patterns. Retry every time you lose and practice on lower difficulties
