My friend and i have the same cars just he is waiting on engine swap and im waiting on turbo kit for my G. from reading some of the previous comments i know from my mechanic who is a 300zx mechanic, on stock internals you can run about 400 whp on both cars safely, 300zx can handle more for sure tho. either way both good cars and some of the best looking cars out there!
the guys in the car following sounds like scion tc drivers or is that just me. and 300zx twinturbo are easily modifiable compared to a g35 running a supercharger. there is nothing to be that excited about.
yea crank it up on that POS aluminum motor and see wat u end up with. G35 is not even in the same class as the 300ZX. VG motor is designed for boost and can handle 1000+HP, VQ is crap above 400 w/o major work. You cant go compare a pure performance car from 1990 to an affordable sport car in 2003

wow ah 7.5 psi untuned out of the box stock pulley whopping 330whp, smaller pulley fuel and a tune and do that race again...g would walk it hard..
