My thought on the Loosh is that its just part of the reason that we are here.

We are here for more than one purpose. One purpose is to fill our duty as a Human Organism in this Physical Universe in order to continue its existence as needed. Another purpose is to attain and complete our essential goals of our total self and create the higher bodies necessary for graduation from this existence.
