I'm pretty sure the commentators were instructed to keep the match interesting at all times. This includes giving false hope and/or over dramatizing the abilities of the characters.

They know what they are talking about; what they say isn't necessarily what they believe but simply what needed to be said at that time.

I kinda agree...but I've seen a Sheik turn things around SUPER quick. He's just trying to say if Ken wants to win, he can't get complacent...which is true, lol. Still, it IS a bit annoying.

my point is, watch it when he does a wavedash then starts dash dancing.

Anybody notice? The dash that Ken does right after the wavedash looks a lil' bit weird. Like the dash animation of moving forward but not moving anywhere.

Actually, that looks common usually if you do a dash but hold diagonally down. You will dash somewhat slower.

I know tech wise fox is the best but with 2 humans fighting each other if you play marth right I think marth could be the best player in the game.

its true that if you space perfectly some consider marth to be the best.

but since you won't ever space perfect, fox is best.

but Ken's spacing is soooo good, it's really hard to beat a marth that spaces well.

Actually it's the other way around. The best player in the world has always been a Marth user because Marth is the easiest to be consistent with. At the peak of human play Sheik is the best. At the perfect level of play that humans can't reach Fox is the best.
