  • nice shot

  • nice shot.

  • omg thats very good...i always wanted to know how you would hit the cue ball to get position like that...you got anymore vids to show different types of shots? allow the back spins and reverse side etc....but something spectacular like that....that would be awesome

  • Would of been good if you used a spotted ball

  • Nice shot Joe

  • easy lots of top spin thats all

  • @Anonomousxxx Easy to explain, yes... Easy to do? no...

  • @pievee not very easy but quite easy

  • if the cueball was a clock what position are you hitting on it

  • @jamielangley4ever 12 o'clock

  • @jamielangley4ever are you thick?

  • was this in a proper game or did you set this up and have several attempts? either way it was good =)

  • No it was not in a game,I filmed it just to illustrate what is possible when maximum topspin is applied to the cueball. It took a few attempts to get the best result of which I posted.

  • have you ever done it in a proper game or is it too risky? =)

  • Yes,I have done that type of shot plenty of times in a game situtation with varying results.

  • @paulsy41 unreal shot man

  • very difficult shot to play

  • good very good

  • ive played this shot before and you need lots and lots of top spin to bounce the cue ball off the cushion and whip it round the black ball, basically tons of top spin

  • actually a very easy shot to play once mastered but well done mate u made it look easy.

  • how many takes? any way that was good, I must say

  • when you hit the white with top spin when it hits the cushion it turn to back spin thus it pulling it to the cushion after hitting it after potting the pink, that why you use just under centre hitting when a ball is over the pocket and you need to come back down the table instead of the top spin you would have thought you'd use.

  • if it put it into back spin it would bounce away from the cusion you dummy lol. It's just top spin and alot of it.

  • dummy? if you read my comment you'll see that i state you use top spin like the shot played and when the cue ball hit the cushion it reverts to back spin thus making it dead on the cushion for the black

THEN i said if a ball was over the pocket and you wanted to come back down the table you wouldn't use top spin because it would stay by the pocket cos of the cue ball turning to back spin after hitting the cushion, you would hit it just under centre so the white comes back down the table

  • wrong again

  • ok...try this for yourself, hit the white slowly with top on it onto a cushion,it comes from the cushion with topspin, now hit the white with top off a ball like the shot played and you'll find it reverts to screw after hitting the cushion, dummy

  • and screwing back to the cushion to be on the black.. you are wrong, the ball hits the cushion and the top turns into screw to be on the black. roll a ball onto the cushion it comes back with top from the cushion, play a shot like on the video and it reverts to screw after the cushion, you fail

  • By virtue of the cue ball changing direction after hitting the cushion the topspin does in fact turn into backspin, you see the massive topspin is still on the cueball when it strikes the cushion but when the cueball changes direction the topspin becomes backspin. Think of it like the reverse screw back shot with sidespin,if you screw with left handside the cueball goes to the right but if you stand on the otherside of the table srewing back with left the cueball does actually go left not fight.

  • yea i kno that but if you look at it from a different angle its top spin. so its wierd but i argued about stupid stuff -.-

  • basically i'm thinking this. when i play the shot purposely with screw back then its backspin. same with top. i don't say if its backspin or top spin coming off a cusion. to me it's just rolling. do you know what i am saying?

  • @joewizard100 exactly...its totally logic, after the cushion there is still spin making the ball go front...this kind of shot allows you to play stopball with great force (for double for example...but of course the ball youre hitting must be on cushion) - but its more like trickshot, like this one...

  • @joewizard100 no, your thick son.

  • @pistolpeeroy Naw i'm just learning :)

  • thats insane how do you do it?

  • Plenty of topspin and hit pink as full as possible when potting it.

  • nice I remember when Ronnie O'Sullivan did this in the snooker world championship in about 2003, probably the best shot I have ever seen!!!

  • brilliant!

  • very nice shot !
