Using toilets supplied with clean, drinking water is just plain stupid. Think about all of the energy and processes that go into making that water potable - and then you go and dump in it. Then it never gets a chance to hit the ground or a marsh or wetland plant root zone or composted. Rainwater flushing is okay. But composting toilets are best. Modern toilets are unsustainable. Not to mention the compounding accumulation of junk (e.g. pharmaceuticals, chlorine, fluoride) in tap water.
