Good job! Remember--you don't need to play with so much vigour all the time--it makes it that much more difficult when you really need to give emphasis.
I played much worse than you at age 10. Actually, you play better than me now since I haven't practiced in a long time! Don't stop practicing--you've got a good thing going!
Wow you are fantastic =] just watch the left elbow, its a bit pointed in too much, but despite that you have a great sound your technique is quite good. how old are you?
He was playing good at the time it was recorded (19/11/ 2006)...I suppose he is better by now, however, I think he may improve his left arm position, because in the future, it could give problem specially for his back and to his left shoulder too.
This young man is an artist .I look forward to seeing him grow older with his young sister .The variation in his bowing sound is remarkable.A true musician. Muy Caliente!
still he needs to relax. he needs to rest his shoulder and elbow and move smoothly with the music. he kinda jerks around. and another thing is the bow hold. if he doesnt fix that now, it might never get fixed. trust me, ive been playing longer than he's been born.
well, I saw some of the other videos and his arm positioning looks a bit different. And I don't think the judges said anything about his performance on his arm positioning on Argentina Got Talent. How long have you been playing?
technique can definitely have an affect on tone as well. relaxing will let all the inner emotions come out which usually results in louder, cleaner tone.
yeah....really echoeyyyyy...maybe he's always in a room with wooden flooring and also he plays loud which is good because for a performance u need 2 play loud enough for everyone 2 hear it... :)
zhou9 shut the fuck up. ur one of those ppl that no one likes and u just criticize to fill up ur miserable nonexistent life. this kid is great and nice collar fix in the middle, pretty snazzy
It's not light enough. It may not hurt now, but doing that to your arm will hurt later (Unless you're double jointed). You have to use your wrist more. Your bow needs to be faster on the chords so that the sound is brought out; it seems like you're rushing the chords.
First of all, I don't have to be a pro or better than him to know what's wrong with his playing. Second of all, everything I said is only my opinion, and it's evident he has problems with his left arm/hand.
he's probably NOT hurting himself with his elbow, or he'd feel it. Don't listen to the criticism kid. I used to always (still do) play along with professional recordings. Keep playing and enjoying it. You sound pretty good!!
Up to now, nobody invites me to play with the Symphonic (being in the Argentina). Better to play with the recording of the Philharmonic orchestra of London that not to play!
I agree with GWAR1018, the angle in which your hand bends to touch the fingerboard looks very unnatural. =) Make sure you do not cause unnecessary strain. Experiment with different positions to find the most comfortable or else you'll get injuries in the long term.
woww. just wow! this is amazing!

i know he's 13 now but he still grips his bow wrong. you can tell by the way his pinky is pointed straight out. it should be resting over the bow.

Better it revises my new video with orchestra of this concert with the violin 4/4. Makes a lot that I changed violin 3/4 at 4/4.

Ummm....the violin being just a little too big could be the reason for that problem. But other than that, the piece was played beautifully.
