I as a human being, not as part Puerto Rican can wholly relate this saga. P-Star is a model for young women. Mr. Diaz, you did good with your children.
I just saw the documentary on WHYY in Philadelphia and I really was impressed by the talent this girl has. Her father also is another reason for praise because he loves his daughter so much, both of them. Ten cheers for you and your family P Star, you are an icon in the making!!
Awesome to see a family seeing things through..Love and hard work...learning from each other and trusting in GOD...A great deal to be learned from this family...
A good interview by Jian on Q TV! I really liked the documentary, a well-done portrait of this talented, enthusiastic hip-hop homegirl. Kudos to the filmmaker!! I think few people realize how much work, time, energy & money goes into making a doc. Ken Burns said "Most of the time, with docs, the subject picks you, not the other way around." And as we see with this doc, it's not a weekend shoot, it's years & years of shooting & editing. I encourage people to see more doc, the bigger story.
what a great interviewer

Great interview! Wow she is very talented, gave me goosebumps to hear her talk. I know 25 yr old females who arent anywhere near her maturity.
