I splitted two cans so I got 2 bottom halves which I then attached together (which is a pretty difficult, it requires clean-cutted edges)by sliding the halves tightly.

If it`s done right the joint will keep everything inside.

If the length is 100 %, then the hole should be approx 6-7 %.

-I used 11 mm drill and filed the edges.

-Check my fire-extinguisher jet !

Yritä kertoa mahd. tarkasti kuinka sen teit niin se vika löytyy aika helposti, tuokin reikä tuossa päässä pitää olla 10-11 mm

kokonen ilman purseita reunoissa.

Mitat on aika tärkeitä ja tuollainen on melko herkkä virheiden suhteen.

It`s very easy to improve some simple ideas to work better, at least there is nothing bad about the cooling compared to glass jar designs :)

i did my glass one for a school prodject

it ran much better than the vid did

to bad i dint have water or anything

i didnt want it to blow up inside class, althou intresting

I don`t know, I have never tried it , give it a try and test it. If you use denatured ethanol and the measurements are good,

it should work. My engine started at the first try.

Thanks, the fuel I use is just some ethanol-based camp stove fuel,same as denatured ethanol. Good idea but it might be dangerous to test in inside and the cooling would be a problem.

Pretty nice little engine you have there. It seems to run very well. Perhaps you could try making a small boat powered by it? Have the engine semi-submerged to keep it cool. Also, I wonder if it would be possible to run it upside-down with the fuel sitting in the lip around the exhaust hole?

Can u please pm me the instructions for this, i made one before with a glass jar and it didnt work. Instructions would be greatly appreciated.

It is very easy to do, take two 0,33 liter aluminum cans,take one can and drill 10-11 mm hole at center of the bottom,remove the top end (very fine cut).

Next take the second can and cut the top

off inside the "top ring". Then all you have to do is attach the parts (carefully pushing

the second done part hole first in to the first done part approx. 1-2 cm, and then you have it. Make sure there is no leaks.

Se periaatteessa kestää miten kauan tahtoo (ei toimi kauaa ilman vesijäähdytystä),ei vie paljoa mitään polttoainetta (Marinol-polttoneste on

ehkä parasta),jäähytysvesi se siellä höyryää,kuumenee aika paljon,kun käytin

sitä n.4 min vesikattilassa niin jäähytysvesi kuumeni niin että ois voinu teet keittää siinä.
