When my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and given less than 10 weeks to live, I played this song to and from her chemo treatments. She had 5 tumors in her lungs and two wrapped around her heart, cancer in her liver and stomach. Praise God he healed her entire body! I have walked by faith even when I cannot see and I will continue to no matter what life throws my way good or bad. I will always say no matter what, "it is well with my soul," because of HIM!

It has been almost 2 years to the day of her death. No matter what, through it all, I asked that the Lord's name be sanctified and glorified. May we pursue Him and desire Him above all else that this world has to offer. Get to know Him Go after Him hard until He reveals more of Himself to you and you love Him more and more. Earrings along with any other type of jewelry were made as a symbol of bondage. Only slaves used to wear jewelry. It let people know that they were someone's slave. Research it. Love it Jeremy. Its all about giving it to the Lord. It is one of my favorite songs. I tried to learn it last night on guitar. It came out pretty good, but I could use some recording equip for sure.
We must stride out with faith, eyes closed and arms open. If we fall we will only fall into His arms.

@lorienlieswithin christ was piereced for our sins not to "look good"... that whole point here is that God wants us to be holy... not that we can on our own but byt the blood of Jesus Christ and walking by His word everyday.. if your body is not clean or holy, how can God use u to be a light to others u know? thier gonna say why are u any different than i am... but anywayz i was just saying cuz i know God told me to keep my body and my soul clean and holy because that's how He can use us! :)

@ilikeblues2 the earrings that are described in the bible in that passage are a symbolism of God pouring out His love over Israel and providing for them rain and food, grain, and all that.. its not literally like it says further down if u read what God gave them in Ezekiel 16:19 and its talking about how they served other fake Gods .. hope u understand it now...

I feel comfort listening to this. Last night i drove past a house where a few drunks were hanging out and i stopped to turn the car in the other direction to go to my house. As i started to turn the car a drunk came and started hitting me through the window of my car.. i didn't know what to do. Lately it seems like my life has been falling apart and if this is all God can do for me then i don't want it. Pray for me..

@rawr0876 The Lord gives us all kinds of trials. These are to refine us as pure gold. Do not be discouraged. He loves you and is planning your path as He knows best. Trust the process. Trust Him with all your ways. We won't know what that incident with the drunk was for until we get to heaven. Maybe that was his turning point.
