  • Your voice is too deep.

Sorry, I don't like, but, I can't have Red hand on your video.

  • Bravo!

  • shes damn nervous lmao

  • I enjoyed it especially that the women are not veiled which will be the law in The UK very soon thanks to massive immigration by Muslims and collapsed birth-rate among the natives :-(.

  • Don't worry baby, i'm thumbing you up.

  • I made it to 0:44 before I had to pause it

  • opss... do it again... but better! (upload the 2011 version!!! should be better)

  • That was...what was that!? lol @TheWallOfSound1990 so true. @409442 she really is...

  • ouch!

  • Sorry guys, hate to end your arguement, but the lead singer IS definitely off-key!

  • Sorry, but it is a terrible cover of a classic.

  • At least she looks good.

  • It was not bad , anyone can be a critic , you know what they say . those who can do those who cant are republicans.

  • this is hilarious

  • one of my favourite songs well done the pitching was fine

  • I just love karaoke

  • She's beautiful! I love her!

  • Well I enjoyed this rendition. Anybody who has criticised it, well I don't see you up on stage trying anything better.

Well done Beach Girls, and yes I concur you are rather attractive!!!

  • beautyful music, beautyful ladies!!!!!!!!!is wonderfull!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Kinda demonstrates here, just how subtly-complex Brian's golden-era-60s-songs really were. These 60s Brian Wilson compositions are extremely hard to emulate, & to try to sing well in harmonisation, in terms of the comparison with the perfect 4 & 5 part harmonies & production / arrangements which BW - the original & best .. & unsurpassed .. first created. Many have tried to emulate the songs over the years however .. which is a tribute in itself to the great, the one-&-only Brian Wilson.

  • you right dude

  • This phillipgaley fellow is entirely to aggressive to not be taking this personally, don't let him fool you. You are correct uplift, she is pitchy. No amount of correction software (which the Beach Boys didn't have while recording!) would fix it live.

  • .......

  • i'll just say that they are not qualifed to sing beach boys songs

  • well put....no need to trash the effort

  • thank you

  • @noviodedaniela Lets be honest, no one is qualified to sing Beach Boy songs.

  • @TheWallOfSound1990 you are totally right

  • the lead singer's voice is a bit breaky and out of tune sometimes and the background singer's voices arent strong enough

  • Brilliant version! I love it x

  • you deaf??

  • Such a vulnerable song, sung with such honesty.

  • Hey, forget the naysayers...I think it takes alot of guts to take on a Beach Boys song from the "other side of the table"...they did a good job, and I commend them for it...I'd like to hear them sing some of Jimmy Buffet's tunes too...good job girls!!

  • THIS IS RETARTED!! Sorry to anyone who likes this but i doulbt that there is a person who likes this

  • I wouldn't go as far as saying that it's retarded, but the lead singer was way off pitch through most of the song, and the musical arrangement could have been done better.

  • "was way off pitch", . . . mr. up lift mode whatever, . . . I think, your problem was, being about halfway through one of your peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches, you paused to scratch your ears and, underneath that nice yella raincoat of yourn, we would find your ears stuffed full of gobs of peanut-butter and bits of whole wheat bread.

So, what am I saying, here? I could put it on a strobe tuner; but, I think, she's on pitch, and for you, no doubt, it's time for another sandwich, . . .

  • A strobe tuner would definitely reveal spots where she went sharp. I'm a musician, and have very good relative pitch. I'm sorry if I offended you by my comment, but I'm just stating the truth. Any experienced singer/musician would agree with me.

  • 1) if so "experienced", you would have at least some idea of how very common pitch correction software and hardware is, and that, her voice falls easily within acceptable parameters

    2) "but I'm just stating the truth", and I'm this and I'm that and I'm, I'm, is most becoming to the self revelation of a fool.

    3) but to the ever much larger issue, for the promise which a woman is to society, WHATEVER she does should be allowed to proceed without the inane and sneering criticism--as yours appears

  • Wow! I think you're taking this way too personally. Once again, my comments were not intended to be offensive nor sexist, and if you or anyone else has taken them as such, I sincerely apologize. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and although I don't agree with yours, I'm willing to accept it without going on and on with a pointless arguement.

  • Pointless, . . . no, . . .

    1) ?By what strange twist to understanding could your opinions be supposed as personal to me?

    2) Well, sure your "comments were not intended to be offensive nor sexist"--true to form, people who present themselves in supercilious criticism, are so wrapped up in self that, they aren't guided or guarded by a decent third-party perspective--they exist in, and act out of, a kind of moral blindness.

  • Pointless....yes. Obviously we have an extreme difference of opinion, and neither one of us are going to see the other's opinion as the truth - this leads to a never-ending argument with no resolution. I accept your opinion, as well as everyone elses on here. If you can't do the same, then I will have to accept that as well.

  • Don't worry, I agree with you upliftmofo, I am quite the professional musician myself and can tell when a voice is bad an off pitch or not unlike some people like phillip bloody schoffield up there lol

  • Bravo! The Genius himself, Brian Wilson, would be flattered! Great band backing up a great group of SURFER GIRLS! Love & Mercy.

  • Hey Rob!! that's a project from our Uni in Liverpool, UK. Glad u liked it :)

  • another lovely version of a great song!! where is this group from??

     Thanks Rob in Indiana (USA)
