How long could I hold a baby bamboo shark from birth in a 80 gallon aquarium before I need to get rid of it? Could I possibly have 2? for a year or 2?
I reared approx 20 dogfish in a home aquarium approx 6' in length. Most fascinating thing I have watched. Released back into the wild along the coast line here in Northern Ireland. Native marines are quite easy to keep and free - just watch the room temperature!!

These look to be cali swell sharks. Being a cooler water species likely 5-8 months. Tropical species will hatch more quickly.
