i jumped for joy hearing of the planes crashing into WTC. the sound of the impact was awesome. i love watching the people in the buildings desperately waving out the window for help. their cries for help were music to my ear. one by one, they jumped out the window,fell to their deaths. SPLAT! love the sound of the bodies hitting the ground. when the towers gave way, people in the buildings and on ground probably got crushed like pancakes. wish i were there to capture this kodak moment.

@lanerant How heavier an object, the more stable it is. Cause they were the largest buildings in the world (at that time) the weight they had was enormous. Also the plane didnt work as an explosion, it almost penetrated the building instead of just blasting 1 part out. Although it wasn't 100% cut in half, the sheer weight of the tower made it fall downwards, and not sideways (alittle bit sideways, but if you pull down a curved rope, it will straigthen itself, if you got what I mean)
@1995lay but you're not seeing the physics of the whole picture! there was only one corner of the structure that was impacted, the plane(s) hit the buildings asymmetrically, which logic would lead us ALL to no other conclusion but that the buildings had help in the symmetrical and near-free-fall descent. @lanerant From what I know the buildings are being hit by the planes on the sides (not in a corner). So on this scale I say you could call it symettrically. Yes I have played jenga, but at jenga: you pull out 1 block at a time. I you would be quickly enough to pull out 1 whole layer at 1 time, the building would crash downwards if it was heavy enough (wood isnt heavy). 20-30 floors crashing down a building while they almost have the height of a plane to accelerate, its powerful enough I think.
@1995lay you can see in all the angles of all the videos that the planes hit off-centre near a corner of the structure, there is nothing even remotely symmetrical about it. three complete structural edges were unbroken and would and should not have but did give way at the exact same time. if the towers fell due to the weight of the upper floors, then surely it might have been a slower episodic collapse. the difference in the number of floors would have meant different collapse times non?

Once the core is broken, the middle can crash right down, by bending (ex: an accordion) the outer walls or "releasing" them, if you look at the foto's taken of the wrecks you can see that some outside walls are still standing 15 stories high.

@lanerant How heavier an object, the more stable it is. Cause they were the largest buildings in the world (at that time) the weight they had was enormous. Also the plane didnt work as an explosion, it almost penetrated the building instead of just blasting 1 part out. Although it wasn't 100% cut in half, the sheer weight of the tower made it fall downwards, and not sideways (alittle bit sideways, but if you pull down a curved rope, it will straigthen itself, if you got what I mean)

@1995lay but you're not seeing the physics of the whole picture! there was only one corner of the structure that was impacted, the plane(s) hit the buildings asymmetrically, which logic would lead us ALL to no other conclusion but that the buildings had help in the symmetrical and near-free-fall descent. I'm sorry but with all due respect i can not believe that the weight of 20-30 floors would crush the remaining 80. no dice! you ever play Jenga?

@lanerant From what I know the buildings are being hit by the planes on the sides (not in a corner). So on this scale I say you could call it symettrically. Yes I have played jenga, but at jenga: you pull out 1 block at a time. I you would be quickly enough to pull out 1 whole layer at 1 time, the building would crash downwards if it was heavy enough (wood isnt heavy). 20-30 floors crashing down a building while they almost have the height of a plane to accelerate, its powerful enough I think.

@1995lay you can see in all the angles of all the videos that the planes hit off-centre near a corner of the structure, there is nothing even remotely symmetrical about it. three complete structural edges were unbroken and would and should not have but did give way at the exact same time. if the towers fell due to the weight of the upper floors, then surely it might have been a slower episodic collapse. the difference in the number of floors would have meant different collapse times non?

Edges arent important, the core is. If the above link is true, the planes flew into the building in such a position they would get very few resistance to get to the core. Once the core is broken, the middle can crash right down, by bending (ex: an accordion) the outer walls or "releasing" them, if you look at the foto's taken of the wrecks you can see that some outside walls are still standing 15 stories high.
