I just don't understand her arms and feet here. Ordinarily, she's absolutely stunning. But what's with that funky hand on the hip in the penchee? And that awkward arm switcheroo in the en dedans-en dehors pique turns? And those beautiful feet look like they're dancing in dead pointe shoes that got jet-glued in all the wrong places.
She's usually my favorite Giselle. I'm going to just pretend I didn't see this performance of it. u.u
Unfortunately I have to agree completely - she is the best Giselle I think I have watched yet (I think a perfect amount of hesitancy in the early performance to represent the start of their relationship) and her feet and extensions are amazing!!
and yet... her hands are a bit of a let down - often stuck sideways atop lovely curved arms... otherwise perfect though! Xx

It's a modern Giselle,not the lithographs from the past come alive. I miss the Spessivtseva diagonal that Alonso and Markova made famous.

She has the best feet, but her arms are horrible.
I know you all will hate me because of this, but it's what I think.
Anyway I like her interpretation.
