Ah the Zx10r I hear this bike is a little bit of a beast with unpredictable bouts of power? Do you geta rate "rate" for track days by actually having a track bike etc? I love it when you reply as i get to watch the video again....
We find the ZX10 not so good as the R1 on the track. R1 is stable & good brakes.ZX10 not so confident - see my other video following my dad on ZX10. Straight line speed after 7000rpm is rapid. No price difference for track bikes.
What is the story here? early braking, short shifting and yet you still managed to catch up with people... Would have been nice to c u give it some beans, i don't think your were pushing hard enough....
it was my first dry session and learning the track. also it was my road bike so would never give it 100%. just bought track bike gsxr 600 so the fun starts next time....
I took my road bike... (don't have a track bike).. i gave it beans jsut couldn't resist... Plus my mate was on a R1 I got past him loads but was hard to pass him once he desided to "play" a little ... What did you pay for your track bike?
Its a gxsr600 k3, with all the bits bought £1500. looking for trailer now which is £150 & tow bar @ £200. Its not cheap but better than trashing the R1 and Zx10r we current use.
