  • there's such relaxing music :D

  • @MissKerrieJ I know this will sound very stupid, but I always see, or at least something that looks like, a white Copic marker. What is it?? PS: You use it at 2:39.

  • @MyPsych96 It's the Copic Colorless blender. :)

  • aww sooo pretty!

  • Thanks for posting these videos, very inspiring and helpful.

  • What kind of inking pen do you use?

  • @KazekageGaaraGirl109 Copic SP Multiliners. :)

  • That's just sick... I wanna burn all my drawings after this... FML T__T

  • Hayy, MISSKERRYJ

I´m really curious about how you draw the pictures ?

Do you copy from some pictures or are you watching pictures and then you draw them ?

I hope you do a drawing tutorial!

( excuse me for my bad english, if I have it x)

    Pleasse response!

    x

  • @as199714 All the pictures I color on my channel are pictures that I have drawn myself. I don't copy or use references, I will look at a character design if I'm doing fanart - but I don't directly copy any pictures. :)

  • PLZZZ READ MISSKERRYJ

well umm can you make a video where you draw the pictures becuase i am looking at a lot of different art tutorials to help with my drawing so if it wont be a bother can you make one?

  • @starshine7861 It's hard to record myself actually doing a sketch for a picture - I never know when something is going to turn out or not. And I rarely sketch when I'm at home, I'm usually out or at university or something. I've done one video where I draw the sketch (my Merida video)... I might try to do another one sometime.

  • what sort of pen did you use before the copic markers?

  • Do you draw these from scratch? Or do you have like a base for you to draw up on?

  • @EMOssY112233 I draw them from scratch, no base or reference. :)

  • How do you ink so well? Maybe it`s because I don`t have steady hands, but when I ink, my lines don`t always match what my pencil lines are and it makes me so made because it`s ink!

    ;w;

  • @fawkcurecouch Inking takes practice - I used to draw comics as a hobby, so I got really into learning to ink. Because of that, I developed an extremely steady hand. It's best to just practice inking, work really hard to stay with your lines and work very slowly - it really helps. I'll sometimes spend longer inking a picture than I do coloring it.

  • @MissKerrieJ Hm, I see. Thanks for the tip! I ink when I can and I try my best~! >3<

Your art is amazing btw. The way you use your colors really makes your artwork pop out~

  • i have a question /request

would u b willing to do a tutorial on how u use your colorless blender please

  • Comment removed

  • i don't like her nose --"

  • PLEASE READ! MISSKERRIEJ

    01:05-02:10

What inking technique are you using?

  • @artawesome30 I'm not sure if it's an actual 'technique' or not... that's just how I ink my pictures.

  • you are amazing mind to give me some tips? i can give you me private email if you would like to shoot me a few ideas

  • OMG!!!! I love the drawing!!!! wish i could draw like that! I'm trying. But i LOVE the dress! It's SO cute!! Keep up the GOOD work!!

  • She's beautiful ♥

  • I really like the style of your drawings, so sweet and beautiful.-3

  • Wat kind of pen do u use for the outlining/

  • Hello. I have a question about your inking technique. Do you ever make mistakes inking in your artwork? I asked because I use Pro White, and the Gelly Roll pen to fix up likes that I feel are too thick. Can you go over the Gelly Roll, or Pro White areas with the markers, or do you have to use something else> Please let me know. Thanks.

  • @Launchpad05 I have made mistakes before, but I've learned how to fix than with ink rather than some type of corrective material. You can't go over any type of corrective ink (i.e white out, gel pen, or even Copic Opaque White) with Copic markers. The white will come through. I honestly don't think I've even had such a bad mistake where I felt the need to use white ink to fix it... but that might just be because I know it can't be used with Copics that way. :/

  • OMG ur videos are soooo inspiring!!! They drive me NUTS!!!! When i see ur drawings, i spend th rest of my day trying to be as good an artist as you, but i just can't be... please answer this: how long have you been drawing?

  • @artawesome30 ^^ I've been drawing my entire life, but I started drawing seriously with the hope of getting better 13 years ago. So I've been working on improving for 13 years.

  • @MissKerrieJ do you have a deviantart account? :D

  • @icepinky123 Yes I do! There is a link to it on my main channel. :)

  • Firstly, Your an amazing artist i wish i could draw like you,

Secondly, Were did you get those pens you are using, I would like to buy some

  • everything looks amazingly amzing !!! keep it up :). lol the nose looks a bit starange but the rest looks fabulous.

  • I've watched almost all your video's at least twice. They inspire me so much and I find them to be so intriguingly beautiful. I realized that I tend to watch them when I feel tense or stress or anxious. They calm me down and make me feel peaceful and it's as if all my worries slip away. I hate it though that you're video's come to an end, but It only make me more thankful that you have more and that there is a replay button. Thank you for being alive and sharing your talent with the world.

  • Forgive me for my lack of artistic intuition, but do you happen to have any tips on coloring skin you'd like to share? I've tried trial after trial, and for some reason, my skin looks far from natural. Any suggestions?

  • what music is this, its sooooo beautiful :''3

  • the one and ONLY thing i dont like about your drawings are the noses but everything else.....just amazing

  • I love your art. Did you take a class or are you self taught? Please answer. D:

  • @TheTragicNightmare I'm self taught. I've taken a dozen or so art classes over the years, but everything I know I basically taught myself. I'm now attending art school though, studying animation. :)

  • @MissKerrieJ I really love your art. I have a terrible problem with human anatomy, and shadowing. So clothes, curly hair and body poses other than straight standing are a no-no. :{

I want to get into an artschool. Your art is very pretty, I like how you do the noses. You make very round noses look extremely cute.

  • Um, where do you get white ink to just add little details after coloring? Like the shine in eyes and stuff?

  • @vampivampire It's just a white gel pen I think. That's what I use. :3

  • @vampivampire It's an Inkssentials Opaque White pen, you can get them at most art and crafts stores. :)

  • @MissKerrieJ Thank you! You're awesome btw!

  • You have come so far yet this is still so good.

  • I love the drawing and the music!!

  • where did you get those hands? i want a pair of my own! :D

You're so great. Keep it up. i wish i have your talent and your hands, of course!

  • It's pastelly! Pastelliness.

  • What kind of paper do you recommend for Copic markers?

  • @Jennstan135 I use Gina K Pure Luxury Cardstock... it's the best paper I've ever used with Copics (and I've tried tons of different papers). I definitely recommend trying it out. :)

  • @MissKerrieJ Are there really different brands of cardstock? I was think about buying some cardstock but I don't think it said Nina on it. Is there another cardstock you recommend if a person can't find Nina?

  • @LTCJ2006 Yes, there are dozens of different brands of cardstock (though not all are created equal). I use the Gina K cardstock, I've never tried the Neenah brand, but I hear it works well with Copics. There is a lot of info on the web about what types of cardstock to use with Copics. I also heard that the X-Press It cardstock works well, but I have never tried it either. There are different benefits to using different types of cardstock, it just depends on what you are looking for.

  • @MissKerrieJ OH, okay, Thank you very much. I will look into it. So far, I am thinking about using Bristol paper.

  • your drawings would make really beautiful tattoos ^^ just wanted you to know ^^

  • i love youu :D i hope some day i'll be able to draw as good as you do :)

  • I don't know if it was the music or your art, but I was getting teary-eyed. Your art is very beautiful, and you probably do take a good amount of time drawing those with concentration. That's something I'll have to work very hard for if I want to try to get better at my drawing skills.

  • how much do copics cost ? and where can i get them? ( answer plz ) btw rly nice drawing :D

  • @kyanshi also if they bleed, it means the paper could be soaking up too much ink so to speak, which means your using more inks than you usually would and would have to refill them quicker XD

  • @kyanshi My Copics don't bleed at all. If you are using them and they are bleeding badly, it's the paper you're using, not the markers themselves. You'll need to get a paper suited for use with markers, then the bleeding should stop.

  • @MissKerrieJ That explains a bit as to why my watercolor paper didn't bleed as much as my sketch paper

  • where did you get this song?

  • i love your style!

What i like the most about it, are your outlines i like that 3-D efekt

it would be cool if you did a short tutorial about them, like where you put the shadows or so.

    please!

  • Pastel? What is a Copic Pastel? What makes them a pastel? Sorry, I don't know much about art terms... :-/

  • @LTCJ2006 Pastel as in colors, not type. I was using very light, pastel shades for this picture rather than darker, muted colors like I usually use.

  • @MissKerrieJ OHHH, okay alright. Thank you. :-)

  • Can you use pencil under the copics without them bleeding it or showing it through horribly?

  • @graysunshine1001 You can, but you need to be very, very careful. The pencil will still show with Copics and it will pull the pencil around to leave unsightly grey lines, it's hard to avoid. Once you go over pencil with a Copic marker, it cannot be erased. And getting wax from a pencil on your marker can clog the nib, which will make it unusable. I used pencil with Copics in my Sunset video, it looked nice sure, but it was very tedious trying to avoid the pencil lines.

  • Will you make me a colouring book please?

  • the next Sarah Kay ^^

  • You can do that with MARKERS?!

  • I wish i can have one of your drawing!! I'M AMAZED!!

  • hey, what song is this? good for my babysitting lullabies =) GET BACK TO ME PLEASE

  • @Ririgirl101 The song title is in the video description.

  • Thank you so much for listing the colors you used! It will really help me learn how to narrow down which colors I should use in future pictures (my color theory is pretty poor >_< )

  • do you keep all of your drawings?

  • @XDtetraJeJe Yes indeed I do. They go into my portfolio.

  • @MissKerrieJ woh xD lol i try but its really hard :P i move alot!!

  • This music is so pretty :oo makes me sleepy :3

  • I always notice that you like the classic style and curly or wavy hair ,I like that , it is also my style ,even though I am not as good as you ,but it makes me want to learn more and I thank you for that

  • Beautiful!

  • best work i`ve never seen before ........ love all of your pic`s <3

  • :')

  • I love the way your draw the hair!!

  • OMG I JUST FOUND OUT YOU HAVE A TUMBLR!!!!!! :D Im so following!

  • I really love your work! It's so beutifully done and I just love the imagination and ideas put into it! I love your videos and I hope you really go far! :) You deserve it!

  • When you draw images like this, do you always use a reference image? Or are these from memory? :-)

  • @LTCJ2006 I never use references, just imagination. :)

  • @MissKerrieJ :-D WOW Soooo amazing! I wish I could enhance my work, but I feel like I am not making any progress. I can not draw from my imagination. Only if I look at an image, then I can draw that exact image, but I don't want people to think I am plagiarizing. I only do it this way to practice...

  • @MissKerrieJ i admire you, it's so hard for me to the basic shapes without some sort of reference.

  • Sorry to ask, but what is the song?

Your artwork is fantastic, by the way! It's awesome that you have your own original, and very beautiful art style.

  • XD amazing

  • name song plss DX

  • Dude... What ink pen do you use? :o

  • @LadyShirahime93 I use Copic SP Multiliners. :)

  • @MissKerrieJ Thanks. :) I normally use Prismacolor, but I can't seem to get use to them, like they aren't working out for me. Catch my drift? I'll try these and see how they are. Thank you. :)

  • I love drawing Disney princess or fairies the best, because of the detail, the beauty and the imagination that involves it! A pity I'm shit at it! T-T

  • OMG you made this on my bday ^.^

  • waaaaaw ................

  • Can i buy your hands? ^^

  • @Yvonnieisbest probably in one of the art stores there

  • do you know if they sell copic markers in Norway?

  • @Yvonneisbest they don't but they sell Twin Markers in TEGNE.NO

  • what's the name of the melody?

  • You need payment.

  • Your worrk is amazing!!! Wish i was like that!! :D

  • I want to buy copic markers to, but they r so expensive -_- great job your work is beautiful!

  • Why is it so amusing to watch you colour?

  • NO FKING WAY :O

  • D: You are soooo good at drawing. I wish I was that good. I stink, and my art teacher agrees with me by giving me 25%-40% for everything I hand in :( I wish I could draw like you.

  • it's a beautiful music =3

  • how do you start the drawing please answer

  • l like blue roses l think that it is a pretty drawing and l think you could sell some drawings that you do because ld love to buy a copy of blue roses for 3$. :)

  • Awesome video! About the colorless blender.. do you have to use it UNDER the actual color? I've never understood that :°D

  • It's amazing :)

  • Miss Kerrie, please reply!

    ....

    Do you do requests?!?1

  • this vid just covinced me to get some of thode markers ... thank u , really nice job

  • AHHHH i feel so sad that i don't have copics! i REEEEEALLY WANNTTTT THEMMMM.

  • Beautiful! I love the lineart, it's no smooth and nice... I think you should keep drawing what you want, if you like drawing girls, or princesses, or whatever, do it. I also LOVE drawing and I always draw girls. My family sometimes tells me that I should try and draw something else like a landscape... And I know it is good to practice drawing different things but... I think art was made to please yourself, not others. We musn't follow other people's instructions!

Keep doing wha t you love! <3

  • the music makes me think of a music box...

  • You are amazing. :)

  • waw... i love this

  • what's the song? the drawing and the music blend in well. :)

  • wow the fast pace already take 5 min and so...what about te actual drawing itself. sigh.just thinking of it make my back hurt already lol

  • i love how you put so much detail into your work

  • whats the song its sounds so "curious and mystery" to me XD

  • No offense but it keeps annoying me when I see the title 'pastels' an all I get are people with freaking markers. -_-

  • @AngelSparksTheEevee the word copic markers should of gave you a hint ...... T_T

  • That is absolutely beautiful!!!! <3

  • very nice job >3<

and i love the song, do you know the title?

  • what marker are you using before you do the skin tone? O:

and you're so inspiring T^T i love your work <3

  • @XxBrokenWings011 It's the Copic Colorless Blender. :)

  • @XxBrokenWings011 It looks like the colourless blender. It usually comes with the box sets of COPiC markers. Or you can buy them seperately.

  • Do you have a deviantart?

  • @whitewolfleader13 There is a link to my deviantart on my main channel page. :)

  • this looks absolutely beautiful...

  • Can you show us how to draw some of your flowers? 'Cause I'm not really good at the flowers. :x

  • i would die to see you doodling or your sketchbook... great work!!!

  • So beautiful! Am gonna show my kids...

What's the bg music btw? It's soothing too! Keep it up!

  • I'm so going to "watch" you on DA!!! *--*

  • i love the pictures you draw, but how do you get it like that cause i usually look at a book and draw it out, and i'm not that good on coming up with ideas myself

  • i love it !!!! =)

  • This is too beautiful!

  • What markers do you usually use for skin colors and tones?

  • You have such a beautiful style. I cannot help but be enchanted by it. Not to mention the music that just sings with it. I apologize but where did you get the music from?

  • You have such a lovely style. I cannot help but be enchanted by it. Not to mention the music that just sings with it. I apologize but where did you get the music from?

  • @DarkMoonAngelDreamer I don't always draw princesses. I draw what I like, not what other people think I should draw.

  • @MissKerrieJ alright, i was just checking something, that all. . . . . . . .

  • @MissKerrieJ Princesses are coool!!!! I loooove tangled and the disney princesses... <3 Draw on!! Your so amazing i love the recent drawing with the fabulous dress its amazingly beautiful :)

  • @HazelLillies its "my" comment

  • @DarkMoonAngelDreamer Kinda an odd one, though.

  • I can't begin to explain how flawless this piece of artwork is. The music is the cherry on the cake as well, so serene. Honestly one of my favourite videos in the world!

  • @TheCrazedKitten Let me see if I remember... I believe I used E50, E53, E81 and E93... I think lol And thank you ^^;

  • have you ever thought about drawing and selling your images on etsy as digital stamps for cardmakers?

  • what do you mean it "didn't turn out well"? It turned out awesome! I would be the happiest little bunny if I could draw like you.

Lots of love from the World :3
