I've always had a huge problem with controlling my affection, but I never realized it was a sin. It isn't even an affection in seeing how he'll be a good husband or father. I'm just overly affectionate towards and attached to guy friends. I feel like this video spoke directly to me though, and my ways are now changed. Of course this might take some practice, but I refuse to lose this.

There have been guys with looks that appeared attractive at first but once God revealed things to me, looks mean NOTHING. Our bodies are only vessels to be used by God.

I think I agree. Yes guard your heart, but there is nothing wrong with examining a Christian male WHO HAS EXPRESSED INTEREST IN YOU and looking at his characteristics to determine whether he can be husband material.
HOWEVER that we must be careful to not let emotional attachment (which all starts in the mind) be the end all in evaluating a relationship... I think that is where the speaker is going in his message.
