My brother is 5th generation on both sides of our family at a&m in the ROTC. I'm so proud of him but still miss him terribly. Watching these videos lets me have an idea of what he's doing and I'm so proud of him. I may not have shared in those traditions but he did and I'm so proud.

What? I can't believe he said the Aggie Band only has two songs!! Those are just the War Hymn and The Spirit of Aggieland which are always the classic ones they play at certain times. If you listen to them at halftime, just like any other band they have plenty of other songs including The Noble Men of Kyle, Patton and Ballad of the Green Berets just to name a few. Austin sucks for college comradere compared to College Station. And most people just hate on A&M because they're football program isn't quite as good as UT's. A&M football is probably their worst sport, which is actually saying a lot. If you go to A&M you will learn tradition and spirit that no other colleges have.
According to what I know...and possible everyone else in Texas knows. Tech is the easiest school to get in to out of A&M and TU. People only go to Tech if they can't get into either of those schools. Tech is an embarrassment considering they're known for their STDs.

Flane4 - just as a point of clarification, A&M is not on the top 10 list of eng or business schools in the US, at least not according to US News & World Reports Reviews and Rankings. On the eng schools list UT is ranked #10 while A&M is ranked #14. On the business schools list UT is ranked #18 whereas A&M does not appear in the top 20. I believe on the Forbes list the rankings are similar, but you can check.

What? I can't believe he said the Aggie Band only has two songs!! Those are just the War Hymn and The Spirit of Aggieland which are always the classic ones they play at certain times. If you listen to them at halftime, just like any other band they have plenty of other songs including The Noble Men of Kyle, Patton and Ballad of the Green Berets just to name a few. Austin sucks for college comradere compared to College Station. And most people just hate on A&M because they're football program isn't quite as good as UT's. A&M football is probably their worst sport, which is actually saying a lot. If you go to A&M you will learn tradition and spirit that no other colleges have.

@arispe04 ... Do you not realize some people actually choose to go to A&M? I received full-ride scholarships to Baylor, t.u., and Texas A&M (the only 3 schools i applied to) and here I am, an Aggie. Applying to the other two schools were just to disprove people who'll say I wasn't good enough to be there. A school is not all about sports, though we love it down here in College Station. We do try to get a little education in along the way. unlike a disease-ridden school in Lubbock. Gig 'em. 2013.

Instead he did some marine officer thing where he would go out of state somewhere to train each summer.

Flane4 - just as a point of clarification, A&M is not on the top 10 list of eng or business schools in the US, at least not according to US News & World Reports Reviews and Rankings. On the eng schools list UT is ranked #10 while A&M is ranked #14. On the business schools list UT is ranked #18 whereas A&M does not appear in the top 20. I believe on the Forbes list the rankings are similar, but you can check.
