This video gives us information on gaining lean muscles still there is a small chances of achieving your goal. I do have a workout plan that I feel was effective though it may help some of you. I have the link of the site. Youtube won't allow me to post the link but still you can check it on my profile.
Awesome tips man - I decided to get in shape this summer. just got a kick ass free trial of muscle warfare. Has anyone heard of it? i got 2 weeks worth free and i feel alot stronger, my friends also said i look bigger! cant wait till week 4 - check it out bit.ly\Muscle-Warfare-Trial the trial should still be on
I gained 5lbs in 1 week and a half working out and taking protein shakes (from 145 to 150lbs). I was told (just like this guy mentions) to use 1 gram per 1lbs but i started low at 66 grams (2 scoops), now im at 3 scoops daily. I use whole milk, whey protein and homemade honey for sweeter taste. I see great results already :), kinda getting addicted to workouts now, thus watching instructional videos here!
Okay so I am 15 years old 5'6" and weigh 122 I have been working out trying to gain weight and I have been taking weight gainers I have downed two containers of this mix called up your mass and i have gained around 10 lbs since December but I feel like paying $80 for 10 lbs is not worth it because im still skinny and I also eat like 5 meals daily and workout intensly every day how else can I gain weight is there a certain weight gainer drink that you use
@billy5388 gaining muscle mass happens very slowly if you workout properly with decent nutrition you should be gaining 5-10 pounds of muscle a year depending on genetics protien shakes are only worth it if you cant eat the amount of protien you need i think your giving yourself unrealistic goals m8 but if u keep at it 2 years time youl be 132 -142 pounds anythin more would either just be a growth spert or fat
ive been working out for 2 years and i have made barely any progress in my resistance. I used to curl 15 pounds and now i can only curl 20?!! and no matter what i always seem to give up real easy i dont know why. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
best weight gain shake out there - Super Mass Gainer. i wrote an article about how weight gain shakes help. link is on my profile. plz dont mark as spam i am tryin to help.
Hypertrophy is 8 - 12, you should not be able to lift any more than 12, if you can. then you're lifting too light. not only that but you also need to do more than just 1 set. I stick with 10 reps and 3 sets each workout, If you do pull, you have to do push aswell. If you work your biceps you need to work triceps too.
get a digital scale and a bag of potatoes weight urself b4 and after eating potatoes about 4 potatoes will add a pound. also consider u will lose 2lbs a day so try to gain about 3 to 4lbs aday i gained 15lbs doing this. u weight ur least in the morning and ur most at night
most weight gainers like me dont care about good weight of bad weight my main concern is am i tipping the scale and are people noticing. as far as the potatoes i usully steam cook e'm and i dont eat daily 2 or 3 times a week
I am too but so afraid to workout because I was under the impression that weight is the same as FAT and that I was going to burn the little fat I have and get into serious medical conditions. I'm planning to start a routine and see where it takes me...maybe you can too and we can later compare. :)

ok thansk and yeah cause when i wake up in the morning my arm muscle's are samll and wont flex atall but as the day goes on they get to there normal size and if i say take a 15 lb weight and do 15 reps on each arm they get bigger
@dascumbag That's 15 pounds of bad weight. If you're speaking regular old baked potatoes that will put fat on you. Baked potatoes are fast digesting carbs. Really you should only want to eat baked potatoes post workout because it is fast carbs.
If you're eating baked potatoes during the day you will store some of that as fat, and that is not lean weight gain at all.
Eggs dude, Have 3 eggs a day. Right there is your daily protein requirement and more. I used to be 6'3 125 pounds, I am now 6'3 and 140 pounds so im getting there, and not on a crazy diet either, I just eat more often and have 3 eggs a day. (Also Lift wieghts and whatnot that goes without saying) Good Luck man
it's funny i'm reading this right now cuz i just finished eating 3 eggs. but i'm nowhere near fit. i'm 15yrs old, 5'8 and 108lbs. sometimes i think of going to the gym but i'm a big procrascinator. and the gym only has equipment. for lower body.
Dude you gotta work out, eating right isnt going to do it for you lol. I lived on a near perfect diet my entire youth and it did jack all. Lift weights. DONT do pushups and situps those are for toning. You want weight gain.

That is not correct. According to the Canadian Health Association the reccomended protien dose is equivilent to roughly 1 and a half eggs. What your talking about is a huge overdose on protien, to the point where about 80 grams of that wont do anything.
Skinny guys have super metabolims and need far more calories especially when weight training than the average person. 1 gram of protein per lb is good but I would recommend 1.5 to gain good weight and focus more on carb intake as well. Like mentioned earlier 6-8 rep sets heavy and no more than 45min in the gym. Make squats, deadlifts, and bench press staples of your workout. Keep it short and focused and go eat.
Most skinny people (ectomorphs - fast metabolism) don't need buckets of protein. The most powerful nutrition is carbohydrate. I didnt reach anything on proteins. Month ago I started with carbohydrates more. And they work. Of course I have one glass of protein shake before I go sleep. But carbohydrates are the most crucial... (rate is like: 70% carbs, 20% proteins, 10%fat)
man, I do everything this dude says. I have great nutrition, get 1 gram of protein per body weight, get about 9 hours sleep each night, and train hard. I have only gained about 1-2 pounds in a few months. And that could be because i got a little taller. I don't know, maybe one day it's all finally gonna hit me and i'm gonna start packin on the muscle! I'm only 17 so i'm excited with what's to come. bodybuilding for life!!!
yeah i've been eating more of everything...calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. and i think i mighta broke outta my plateua cuz i gained five pounds in the past 3 weeks!! thanks 4 the reply
Nice to hear that :-) keep on buddy... I changed my routines month ago. I started with carbs and really heavy weights... I gained 5 kg (like 11 pounds). Unbelievable, but I am happy :-)
your wrong dude,, 4-6 reps is for building mass... being lean is another word for toning... granted hes not doing like 15reps with super low weight... its in between building muscle and toning.. its about the middle man to where you become a little stronger and also it shows..
bro as far as i know there are weight classes in mma. so yes you can, but 130lbs is tiny bro. you should pack on some muscle if you're considering it. and don't even consider it if you're not willing to train like a demon. you can get seriously mashed up if you don't know how to handle yourself in the octagon. not worth the risk in my opinion but it's your body so your choice.
hey bro im in high school just like you,i have gained 12 pound of lean muscle since i began working out last year,im 5'9 too and weight 159,some tips, after ur workout drink a protein shake for muscle recover and most important of all,eat more calories than those u burn,60-102 grams of protein and 3 meals each day and dat is set
you said that during high school you gained about 30pds of lean muscle, but i heard that it slows the growth...because im training everyday with heavy weight and im in 9 in high school so i was wondering if it would has an impact on the way I growth,( im 5,9 125pds)
Be careful of overproteinization. It's a term I have heard one doctor use to describe taking in too much protein and not enough of other things. I don't recall the effects he said it could have on the body, but you pretty much wanna avoid it.
when yer gettin more than 2g of protein per kg of bodyweight per day for long periods of time. it can put stress on the kidneys, if yer worried, just have a rest day with less protein to let it flush. drink lots of water, cranberry is good too. and its not possible to OD on protein in a single day
i eat 5 times a day and have gained 15 pounds in 5 months while wieght training everyday. im in 8th grade and weighed 130 before the 5 months. now, im at 145. i think my way is better than his
im in 8th grade too ,, i'm about 130 also what is your secret? For now im just going to the gym every day and drinking protein shakes before working out and before bed. Any suggestions?
your doin good, youll gain muscle mass naturally through puberty plus what your working on right now, just eat right and train hard bro, and everything will fall into place :)
More protein does not equal more muscle. Read some actual medical studies (not info from muscle mags that sell protein shakes). Real studies have shown you get all the protein you need from a balanced diet. Heavy weights with varied exercises, and days of rest in between (to let the muscles rebuild), is how you gain muscle mass.
You're an idiot. Literally EVERYONE but you knows that protein intake is what builds lean muscle. Protein builds muscle....you can't build muscle without it. Up the water intake up the protein intake = you'll reach your goal if you train hard enough. Don't neglect other nutrients though. You need carbohydrates. Most shakes have carbs in them. I personally eat a banana after every workout. I also take a multivitamin in the morning drink a v8 once a day and eat lots of veggies.
i drink lots of whey prtein and creatine and done this solidly for 1month gained nearly a stone so try it out- but mke sure u work out hard and ltos of fluids or your shit aint gnna come out right
to the stupid ppl here, hes saying LEAN BODY MASS. 30 pounds of LBM in 2 years is good, thats him not gaining any fat and just muscle, sure u get those shakes that u gain 30 pound sin 4 weeks. garantee u it wnt be muscle itl be fat.
30 pound of muslce in 2 years HAHAHA this guy is a joke..this video is rubbish everything he has said is a lie apart from the lifting heavy..
fundamentals of putting on lean muscles are protein (like hesaid) CREATINE which he didnt say and a good diet consisting of veg/fruits and meat.
A drink i recommend is PhD synergy You can gain 30 pounds in 4 weeks with that protein shake lol at this guys 30 pounds of muscle in 2 years im 19 and i have mroe muscle than this guy trust me .
dude doesnt phd synergy got t booster in it cuz if it does you shouldnt be takin that shit at your age cuz your levels should already be high and it fucks wit the hormones.
i'm almost 6'4 and about 160..i've been lifting hard(5 to 7 times a week for more than an hour) since january..my max on bench has went up about 25 pounds and i've gained 14 lbs..i take cell tech creatine and am aobut to take nitro tech..my goal is to weigh around 190 and bench 225what else can i do?
I'm 6'2, 180lbs. I decided to eat heavy a few weeks ago. Every day, I ate six meals, each consisting of 1/6 of 200 grams of protein, equal amount of carbs, and small amounts of fats. I lifted heavy. I weighed myself today and I lost 1 pound. I know it's only been a few weeks, but I expected to perhaps gain a pound or maybe two. Any insight as to why I lost one pound?
hey i andrew and i 50 pound 6 foot only joking i 6,1 180 and want to but on 20 pound i be lifting all the time but not working i now i gettin way stronger but i want to look bigger coz all my friend or big ppl but i the smallest in the group i 22 year age and nothing work my arm getting skinny and my body is too so what can i do????
I need to gain weight. I'm 6'0" 201lbs and I still look skinny, I just don't get it. What eles can I do? I lift 4 days a week and take protein nothing seems to help me get that extra 10. Thanks guys
im 15 5 foot 4 and weigh 98 pounds im always the smallest kid in all my classes i can bench 95 squat 105 and curl 60 and it seems like ive been working out forever, i started taking muscle milk for about a month and it seemed like it did nothing but make me lose my six pack, my dad is 5 foot 5 and mom is 5 foot 4 my eighteen year old sister is smaller than me we are all africans and im starting to lose hope......... somebody help me!
dude muscle milk is crap.....IT has Glutamates in it... WHich can cause seizures... ITs pure crap.. You're only fifteen, meaning ur testosterone isn't at its peak... All you need is a basic protein shake... Jay Rob is a healthy brand... YOu also need to make sure you lifting with proper form.. IF you work out very hard and intensely you need to do all that crazy calorie intake crap.. IF you just lift weights an hour a day 6-12 reps 4 sets an exercise, you won't need all that food.
another thing, when i was 14 i started lifting weights in a year my max bench went from 135-235... I kept benching and lifting very heavy and incorrectly, and it lead to me having my shoulder surgery at the age of 18... I'm twenty now.. And i'm limited to certain motion when lifting heavy weight,.. SO in other words give ur body the right rest... Only lift weights intensely about 3-5 times a week tops. Two body parts a day. Try increasing either sets, weight, or reps every week.
In regards to what imadebobie said, you also need to eat properly. Just drink muscle milk isnt going to help. Just lookup nutrition videos here on Youtube and you'll get the idea.
well mate your genetics are telling you your never gonna be really big!!! but you are only 15, you should be eating six times a day, lifting properly i mean if your fine after 8 reps lift more. But lifting heavy at your age isnt really advised. Just eat more, dont worry about loosing muscle look, gain weight and then change your programme to lighter weights and more reps to gain back muscle tone
i think the best way to get big fast is to take the protein called "muscle juice"...it has freakin 1250 calories per serving with milk and 55g of protein...dont tell me that wont put on some weight. the cheapest place to get it is probably the "stronger nutrition" website. if you want 10% off, just type in 22X6U for the referral code...just throwin that out there. its a good deal!
well ... you can drink a protein shake which has alot of protein in it.. just dont start off with too much protein right away.. its gona be hard on ur liver
if your bulking....eat beef, chicken(breast)egg whites, pork and turkey...and i reccomend whey protein 100 percent of optimum....and muscle milk or syntha 6
It's best to sleep when its dark out, as this is in accordance with your circadian rhythm aka biological clock. Your body reacts hormonally to how bright or dark it is outside, and the dark optimizes your hormones for a resting state. That aside, you can sleep/eat/drink whenever you want.
Actually it does matter. Sleeping too late at night, after 12, will disrupt the detoxification of your organs. Different timing after 10 will be the detox time for different organs. It is best to sleep at 10pm. If you sleep too late, you might feel hungry and wanna have a supper because your organs are still working.
Good tips, named all of 'em. I'm 5'9", when I was 15 I weighed 145 lbs now I'm 17 and I weigh 155, not a dramatic increase but I'm doin' something about my body mass. Ya'll listen to this dude, it's all great info for n e of ya'll that want to build muscle.
lol It's not like I suddenly discovered this vid which in turn shook my world and changed my work out routine, no, I've known those things way before I've seen this vid, because I just read things from many sources online. My response to you is YES (except the working out partner, and protein shakes, both of which I have never done, but will start messing around with protein shakes and supplements this summer). I don't work out all that regularly, but I am gaining weight. I'm 18, 5'9", 165 lbs
If you want me to message you and talk to you or answer any more questions regarding bodybuilding just let me know, I'll be more than happy to help you, I'm not all that dedicated, but still, having gained 20 lbs over the past 3 years without getting any taller, I think I might be of some use to you :)
You're back!! awesome.. I started gaining weight again and I'm totally down about that since summer is just around the corner. I'm glad to see u back on YouTube maybe now I can get motivated to do something about my expanding waistline.
im 16, 5ft 8 and weigh 155 pounds im trying to build lean mass. i eat loads more, drink lots of whole milk cos of vitamins, try to eat more protein. i also take weight gainer powder cos its full of protein, calories and looooooads of vitamins. i really want to increase my build though.
@JuliusBabao
Haha.. Funny it is.. My boyfriend was once a skinny
guy but when he tried the program offered at the site
MusclesMaximizer.info
in just a few weeks under its program, his muscles
started to get visible now. Never thought an
internet e-book like this would make him grow
muscular..:))

Be careful of overproteinization. It's a term I have heard one doctor use to describe taking in too much protein and not enough of other things. I don't recall the effects he said it could have on the body, but you pretty much wanna avoid it.
GogatsuGirl 2 years ago
when yer gettin more than 2g of protein per kg of bodyweight per day for long periods of time. it can put stress on the kidneys, if yer worried, just have a rest day with less protein to let it flush. drink lots of water, cranberry is good too. and its not possible to OD on protein in a single day

i eat 5 times a day and have gained 15 pounds in 5 months while wieght training everyday. im in 8th grade and weighed 130 before the 5 months. now, im at 145. i think my way is better than his
fUtUreIAQB 2 years ago
You should probably weight train 3 times a week. The days between exercises give the body time to recover.
You can still go to the gym on days off, but do just abs or just cardio.
Just what I heard somewhere.
rhysie21 2 years ago 4
im in 8th grade too ,, i'm about 130 also what is your secret? For now im just going to the gym every day and drinking protein shakes before working out and before bed. Any suggestions?

i wanna try this, im thin ever since...im 26 year old now and i want some good advice on how to gain weight and muscle without heavy exercise..
esteves726 2 years ago
More protein does not equal more muscle. Read some actual medical studies (not info from muscle mags that sell protein shakes). Real studies have shown you get all the protein you need from a balanced diet. Heavy weights with varied exercises, and days of rest in between (to let the muscles rebuild), is how you gain muscle mass.
calidoggie 2 years ago
You're an idiot. Literally EVERYONE but you knows that protein intake is what builds lean muscle. Protein builds muscle....you can't build muscle without it. Up the water intake up the protein intake = you'll reach your goal if you train hard enough. Don't neglect other nutrients though. You need carbohydrates. Most shakes have carbs in them. I personally eat a banana after every workout. I also take a multivitamin in the morning drink a v8 once a day and eat lots of veggies.

andyrin3 2 years ago
to the stupid ppl here, hes saying LEAN BODY MASS. 30 pounds of LBM in 2 years is good, thats him not gaining any fat and just muscle, sure u get those shakes that u gain 30 pound sin 4 weeks. garantee u it wnt be muscle itl be fat.
nathan549 2 years ago
30 pound of muslce in 2 years HAHAHA this guy is a joke..this video is rubbish everything he has said is a lie apart from the lifting heavy..
fundamentals of putting on lean muscles are protein (like hesaid) CREATINE which he didnt say and a good diet consisting of veg/fruits and meat.
A drink i recommend is PhD synergy You can gain 30 pounds in 4 weeks with that protein shake lol at this guys 30 pounds of muscle in 2 years im 19 and i have mroe muscle than this guy trust me .
nav19891989 2 years ago

im 6.1 and i weight 160 pounds, i train 1 hour from monday to tuesday. 2 muscles each day.
I need a diet but the thing is i hate eggs, can someone give me a hand?
Arthrom 2 years ago
Monday to Tuesday? Anyway...
Chicken and fish. Tuna is great. Pork loin, steak, ham sandwiches, porridge for breakfast, Just research it on the net.
SamCoreJ 2 years ago
lol i meant monday to friday... i feel pretty dumb right now haha. I did resarch on the net but i hate eggs and they're always there
Arthrom 2 years ago
To be fair, eggs aren't always there. There plenty of other good sources of protein. Eggs are good, but if you dont like them there is plenty else.

Any insight as to why I lost one pound?

rmous 3 years ago
dude muscle milk is crap.....IT has Glutamates in it... IF you just lift weights an hour a day 6-12 reps 4 sets an exercise, you won't need all that food.
imadebobie 3 years ago
another thing, when i was 14 i started lifting weights in a year my max bench went from 135-235... Try increasing either sets, weight, or reps every week.
imadebobie 3 years ago
In regards to what imadebobie said, you also need to eat properly. Just drink muscle milk isnt going to help. Just lookup nutrition videos here on Youtube and you'll get the idea.
Wingelite 3 years ago
well mate your genetics are telling you your never gonna be really big!!! but you are only 15, you should be eating six times a day, lifting properly i mean if your fine after 8 reps lift more. But lifting heavy at your age isnt really advised. Just eat more, dont worry about loosing muscle look, gain weight and then change your programme to lighter weights and more reps to gain back muscle tone

what did he say?...."all across the world!!"...typical american behaviour...they always try to sensationalise stuff

i think the best way to get big fast is to take the protein called "muscle juice"...it has freakin 1250 calories per serving with milk and 55g of protein...dont tell me that wont put on some weight. the cheapest place to get it is probably the "stronger nutrition" website. if you want 10% off, just type in 22X6U for the referral code...just throwin that out there. its a good deal!

I have a question that hasn't been answered ever to me, someone please! Does it matter what time you sleep as long as you get enough sleep?
ZaLalo 3 years ago
get sleep..it doesnt matter when..
KAMMslim 3 years ago
It's best to sleep when its dark out, as this is in accordance with your circadian rhythm aka biological clock. Your body reacts hormonally to how bright or dark it is outside, and the dark optimizes your hormones for a resting state. That aside, you can sleep/eat/drink whenever you want.
sog305 3 years ago
Thanks!
ZaLalo 3 years ago
it doesnt really matter just try to keep a schedule and sleep about 7 to 8 hours a night
SuperLlama25 3 years ago
Thanks. :)
ZaLalo 3 years ago
Actually it does matter. Sleeping too late at night, after 12, will disrupt the detoxification of your organs. Different timing after 10 will be the detox time for different organs. It is best to sleep at 10pm. If you sleep too late, you might feel hungry and wanna have a supper because your organs are still working.

lol It's not like I suddenly discovered this vid which in turn shook my world and changed my work out routine, no, I've known those things way before I've seen this vid, because I just read things from many sources online.
