In Army operations, Japan and S.Korea are too deferent to compare. Japan is an island country, so heavy tanks do not fit to real operation. Japan is now operating 50t class tank, but it will replace more compact 40t class tank. Because Japan now assumes little war in ground battle. While S.Korea is a peninsula country. They always face ground war. Only featuring in rebound suppression, of course heavy tank have advantage.

Judging on the Wikipedia and small number of videos, Japs copied design ques from Korean K2 and French Leclerc. The shitty Type 10 looks like a hodge-podge version of existing tanks. Japs have always copied things from other countries, so I'm not too surprised.

Basically, XK2 is copy of Leclerc. But some features/tech are copy from Russian. There are no novel tech at all. Because, Korea doesnt have their own tech/experience, XK2 is only a patchery of the second-class technology by which a transfer is possible. Totally, XK2 is only an expensive toy, like T-50(Golden Eagle). That never beat any modern tank...

As for Jap's Type 10, we have yet to witness any videos or data to substantiate its strengths and weaknesses. The only released video of Type 10 tank was this sorry ass Jap colonel talking about it while the shitty tank made some turns here and there. That was it.

No other tank in the world can do this. besides, type 10 is at least 15 tons lighter than XK-2, which makes it a lot more cost efficient to air lift in huge numbers. Look closely, I don't think it is the TK-X tank. The front armor appears more like a Type-90, in which case XK-2 might win out simply because you're comparing 2 vehicles with 15-20 years of technology gap. Type 90 was prototyped even before 1990 for goodness sake!
No way to put down the Koreans, but whoever posts this it is a simple false advertisement, to say the least.

Japan should focus on basics. Such as building real rifles. The type 89 is inefficient and expensive. It costs as much as the semiautomatic rifles which European reservists keep at home.

this is a minor thing. it is just a diffirence in hull type the weight and the suspension too. you cannot say the type 10 is better by a more stable platform.

Hey stupid, according to Koreans and world scholars all over the world, Koreans came from a migration that originated from the Lake Baikal migration. Korea was known to be a refined civilization by China, Indian states, Baghdad, Persia and even by Japan for thousands of years. Japan on the other hand were known as and are still called "short barbarians" by Koreans and Chinese.
