  • this is a boring press party

  • At 5:01 is the most fortunate woman in the world. Sigh...

  • crowd of brits mostly look good. i thought brits were weird lokking in the late 1970s because of pink floyds the wall video.

  • I think Marie is at about 5:00 lighting the cigarette and Kristin is the lady before her?

  • which song is it at 0:45 ?? i heard that song at local station years ago.

    can anyone please help? thanks

  • @vaka2003 It´s "I´ll be level with you" from the CD "Oktave". Composed by Greame Edge.

  • Great video-takes me back to my eager anticipation of its release after the bummed-out feeling when they split up and, sadly, the feeling of "it's not the same" as the Classic 7 we love so much. It's all good-they still tour and we catch them when they're close by and we can still hear the original songs. Thanks for posting!

  • I love the ending where Justin can't cut the cake and they all have to help him. John just shoves his hand down to slice it. lol. :) I love Justin here, he's so sexy.

  • @wouldntyoulike2know

He's the sexiest man in the world! I envy his wife!

  • Looks like a lovely paahty...wish I was there!

  • Awesome video Red Baron...thanks for posting!!!

  • awesome clip... it's so nice to see them smiling & laughing. I was able to catch the tour after Octave came out, I believe some L. D. V. music was included in it, if memory serves me right.

Those were the days... still miss Mike with them tho.

  • Who were the all the guys wearing headphones, and why were they doing so? A little strange, isn't it?

  • Hi, thanks for this posting and all the great memories ir brings back! Viva la seventies!

  • So that was 2 years before I graduated high school. My older sister went to the show for the Octave tour. I couldn't go, I was too young! Can you belive that!? I've seen the pictures for years and year, great to see the video. Where do you guys find this stuff!?

  • This was one year before I graduated High School. GOSH, I love that 70's look they have there!! Ray in his long hair and shades!!!!! OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh!!

  • WIVES??? WIVES!!!!! They aren't ALLOWED to have WIVES!!! (unless it's berrygirl and meself!!) he heee

  • the day who they meet again!

  • Where did you get this DVD?!

  • Look at Mike Pinders Webside!

  • Kind of interesting that Mike Pinder wasn't there since he quit shortly after the release of Octave. I like all the songs on that album but I thought it was kinda weird that they didn't play "Steppin' in a Slide Zone" as it's the most popular song off of it. Oh and... bizzare!

  • Bizarrely entertaining.

Don't Justin and John look an absolute dream?

Ironic though that the most attractive man there has the by far least atractive wife (to put it kindly).

  • Funny how many people don't realise that this and the similar release function for Long Distance Voyager three years later is what the album launch scene in Spinal Tap is based on.

This is very representative of its time and very typical of major album launches in America at the time.

  • Very cool! Thanks!

  • this from the dvd that i just got but since i'm in usa the sync is off. thanks for posting!

  • And what DVD would that be?

  • clasic arts moody blues

  • Totally bizarre, but strangely compelling viewing. I agree totally with Cheerfulhamster; very Spinal Tap, as a lot of Moody Blues stuff is, if you think about it. But I couldn't believe the huge, laughing SMILE on Justin's face at the end. I didn't think he knew how to smile at that time. ; )

  • the non smiling was ust affect/ effect. the bands name is MOODY blues

  • Bizarre, yes. But thank you for sharing. What a rarity!

  • Bizarre. Was this made for the fan club? These sorts of industry events are about as un-Moody Blues as you can get. And oh yeah, that's secure - put the gold records on the *outside* of the armored car. It's like a scene from Spinal Tap.

  • I love the song this starts out with, one of their lesser known ones
