FUCKING SORAKA KS'ed all my kills. at the end of the game soraka had the most kills her score was 8/2/12 and mine was 4/4/11 at the end of the game, thank goodness we won..

And second, tryn has no heal, no shield, no snare, no stun, no ally buffs and no support ulti. The only thing he has is his W, which utility is very poor if you're against an ap assassin.

What are you going to do, then? Are you going to buy aura items to "support" your team? Are you going to buy a mana manipulator if Ezreal asks you to? And what can you do at lvl 1 as a support, not as an ad carry?

Sorry, but there are some champions that can't be supports.

@SilentlySearching They're both labeled as "Support" champions, although they are not built that way. There are other champions, too, like Morgana. It depends on how you build, the ratios, whatnot. However, you should see the clear label on each champion, such as for Lux- "mage, ranged support". Even though she does a lot of damage, she has a shield to help her team, slow & snare to support them AND get her own kills.

& have you not seen Janna/Soraka/Sona/etc. played as AP mages/carries?

Choose support champs or whatever need, heal this person, get all necessary aura items for this person, and send them in for a penta kill; you can cc their team but that's all you should be good for.
