What I find annoying are the people who try to connect it to everything. I have a friend who has been a huge pain the a** lately because he brings ponies into literally every conversation and project he does. I've seen other "bronies" who rather calmly accept that other people don't like what they like. Why can't you be like them?

It's not very entertaining. The writing isn't as amazing as everyone says it is and it just seems like another little kids show. Can't you just accept that other people don't like it? @IshallLiCkYou My problem is the fact that he even introduced them in the first place to just kill them all. They're not minor characters, not by a long shot. They all had plot points and character development that could have been explored, but Hussie killed them all without closure.

That's what pisses me off.

@CidLuneth1989 Well, to me, what makes a good story is killing the main characters. I mean, Killing off minor characters isn't really that interesting, but if you have a mass murder of all the main characters, it may piss off the fanbase, but it makes everything much more interesting.

@CidLuneth1989 Equius and Nepeta had great personalities and were very lovable, but they had no plot significance, essentially being gag characters. Tavros being killed by Vriska was incredibly important for Vriska's development and personality, and her getting killed too strengthens that. And Feferi dying let her set up the dream bubbles, so each dead person's personality and story can still be showcased.

How I see it, and as many downvotes as I may get, Hussie killing off all these characters is a good thing.

Maybe not so much Dad and Mom, but we were shown their hidden depths and that made their deaths sadder. Most of the trolls are dead because they were added in originally as little more than plot devices or living props for the zodiac theme. I don't recall where I read this, but Hussie originally intended for there to only be five trolls.

All Hussie is doing is cleaning up the main roster.

I loved this whole flash, but the part with the trolls was my favorite part. My favorite favorite part would be when Karkat finally wakes up on Prospit just in time for his dream self to die.

Karkat is one of my favorite characters (Along with Dave, Jade, and Terezi), and that scene actually upset me.

Not many fictional things can elicit a reaction from me, which is why I love Homestuck so much.

If it can produce such feelings of emotion and attachment to these characters that you are visibly upset over their trials and tribulations or upset over their actions, then it is doing its job of weaving a stunning tale that everyone can enjoy in a different way.
